good ending

it's a fun enough book the ending is good the voices for the dragon to still very off-putting for me which takes away from the performance of the overall narration at times but by this point you've gotten used to it
it's a good send-off in an excellent ending leave some options for thought but answers enough questions she feel like a conclusion. that's grounded in the world of reality even in a world with dragons.

Captures the imagination!

I heard about this book through word of mouth. My 10 year old niece loves to read, and so do I. I bought her the printed copies and I listened by audiobook. I’m so glad that I did! The plot, pacing of the story, characters, and writing were all excellent. I liked the last book best of all which surprised me because it can be really hard to find a series with a a poignant and satisfying conclusion. This series was a win!

A fitting end to an epic saga (no spoilers)

My twelve-year-old son read these books first. I think he is mature enough for them but not by much. There’s no sex or profanity in these books but they are very violent and this book has some very graphic descriptions of torture. It’s not gratuitous, but it is disturbing.

I very much enjoyed this book and thought it was a worthy conclusion to Eragon and Saphira’s story. All the major story arcs were concluded nicely but not so thoroughly that nothing was left to the imagination. All the main and most of the secondary characters had continuous development and oh my goodness, the finial battle was clever, exciting, and all around awesome!(a word that I do not use lightly)

One thine I really like about the universe Paolini has created is that its magic is ‘hard magic’(as defined by Brandon Sanderson), the magic has strict rules and he doesn’t break them for the convenience of the plot.

Well done Mr. Paolini.

Gripping tale that wraps up the end of an outstanding series. One of my personal favourite books and also the first series I have ever finished. Enjoy.

Great story, but kind of weak ending

From all the difficulty of the story, I didn’t like how everything was wrapped in the end. It seemed simpler than I thought it would be. Maybe I was expecting too much. But I felt it lacked complexity.

Fantastic read

I was so sad when I finished this book. What an incredible series to read! I listened to this book, and the rest of the series, usually while driving, cleaning the house, and getting read for work in the morning. I cannot wait for me! Gerald Doyle did a great job narrating this book.

Sad it’s over

I read this series as a kid and was so excited when I fell upon them on audible. I loved RE-listening to these books now as an adult and brought back all the same feelings and emotions I had many years ago.
I wish these was a sequel to the series but for now I will leave it to my imagination.
