Story flowed well and was easy to follow. Made me laugh quite a bit. Thoroughly enjoyable. I'm in my 60's and the youthful energy and attitude was refreshing

Narration is excellent, but whole story is kind of slow going, I mean lengthy explanations and watery dialogues. Maybe it's just setting the scene before real action, but it's too long for me.

I loved this book and the narrator performance but have issues giving it 5 stars.

The main issue being that the first 3 books were great and of decent length but as the series progresses, the fact that they have set a goal of 12 books at any cost becomes apparent. The 4,5 and 6th feel like chapters with their short length of slightly over 6 hours in duration. In essence it's a good story but be prepared to sink 12 credits in for 8 books at best.

Well now I randomly picked a free book to try and I loved it! One of the best narrators as well, always enjoy Scott he can do all the accents well!
Looking forward to the entire series ! Also loved the little info at the end regarding the authors, wanna be my mentor too haha?

What a fun listen, the banter between the main character and his AI is brilliant. Nothing I dislike so far. Can’t wait for book two

The kind of humour that you are embarrassed to admit strikes a primal chord in the male psyche. Main character and his AI are developed well; secondary characters show promise. I’m a bit late of a sucker for the ‘battle school’ genre beginning with my introduction to Ender’s Game decades ago. Reader pulls off what the author intended - great delivery! Well done and thank you.

Good story lines and pretty nice rendition!

Although, I got to say that I would have like to smack the main character’s head when he chose the quick update to his AI.

I liked that most characters have depths but their introduction and self introspection isn’t too long. Good pace during the story!
