Tim Curry is amazing and fits the story well.
and it's classic sci Fi if you can Handel something old than its amazing. if you don't like old phrasing and actient people and events referenced as being modern people you won't like it. however if you like something old and trying to imagine something that old, then it's is amazing.

This was a joy to listen to from start to finish. J. Verne's writing style adapts well to the narrated format, and Curry takes great care to embody each character's tone and personality. I wish they had added music or foley sound, but that's a personal preference. If you enjoy classic adventure, this is a great choice!

This narrative was written with an abundant lexicon of uncommon and frequently complicated words, but Curry manages this complexity with both aplomb and expression. I confess that before our intrepid explorers had reached the tertiary epoch, I had had enough of Alex's constant trepidation and complaint. Indeed, to my mind, the greatest weakness of this tale of grand adventure is the utter lack of character development. The three men who enter the volcano in Iceland, taciturn Hans, bombastic Professor Lidenbrock, and his catastrophising nephew Alex, are unchanged by their journey.
This classic novel, first published in 1864, is worth the time.
