No, Just Kill Me Instead
I only finished this book because I purchased it in a 3 books for 2 credits promotion, and since this was the third book I chose, I wanted my $ worth, and well.... I hate to be a quitter.
We all know, you often get what you pay for.
As others have mentioned, this reader is beyond horrible, her male voices are so funny sounding that it is difficult to focus on the poorly developed story line.
The "sexy, strong, romantic" leading man sounds just like Granny Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies. This is something I just could not get used to.
In addition, this storyline was weak like the characters, which were far too many in number to bother tracking.
This book was beyond horrible! Wait.... can I give it a 0 star rating instead?

SCREAM FOR ME - PART TWO
I PURCHASED THIS BASED ON PREVIOUS REVIEWS. WHEN I BEGAN TO LISTEN TO IT I FELT LIKE I HAD NOT DOWNLOADED THE BEGINING OF THE BOOK. THIS BOOK IS THE 3RD IN A SERIES. TO FULLY UNDERSTAND AND ENJOY THE STORYLINE YOU MUST READ THE 2CD BOOK IN THE SERIES "SCREAM FOR ME". THIS BOOK SHOULD BE TITLED "SCREAM FOR ME THE CONCLUSION". AFTER DOWNLOADING THIS AND FEELING CONFUSED. I WENT BACK AND READ THE DESCRIPTION AND REVIEWS AGAIN. I THEN PURCHASED "SCREAM" AND LISTENED TO IT FIRST, THEN LISTENED TO THIS BOOK. IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I WOULD NOT HAVE UNDERSTOOD "KILL FOR ME" AND WOULD HAVE FELT LIKE THE STORY WAS INCOMPLETE IN THE "SCREAM FOR ME" BOOK IF I HADN'T READ BOTH BOOKS. THEY ARE 2 PARTS OF THE SAME PLOT. THESE 2 BOOKS SHOULD BE READ BACK TO BACK. IF YOU WANT TO GET REALLY INVESTED READ THE 1ST BOOK. THIS WAS A GOOD STORY, A LITTLE TOO VIOLENT AND CONVOLUTED AT TIMES BUT OVERALL WORTH THE 2 CREDITS (BOTH BOOKS), FOR A 30 HOUR THRILLER . I WOULD GIVE IT A 3.75

Reader
The triology was very good but Gilbert does a poor job on the voices. Makes listening very difficult

Kill fo Me
I read the first two books in this series and wished that I had read this one instead of listening to it. There were too many characters to keep up with on tape, especially since the reader did such a poor job with the voices. Her Southern dialect was horrible.

Narration is lacking...
The story itself is entertaining, though sometimes predictible. I found myself struggling to get involved with the characters because of the narration. I couldn't tell the male charactors apart - and they sounded like little old ladies with a poor southern accent. Why the narrator didn't make an attempt to add some baritone to the effort is puzzling. It took effort to finish the book, but I needed to know the end.

Truly awful narration!
I couldn't listen to another thing narrated by Tavia Gilbert but, good news, she's not narrating the next one.

Great Book Awful Narration
This would be an amazing book if the narrator didn’t make Luke (the hero who’s supposed to be a big guy with quite the temper) sound like a mousey/nasally weakling. 😞

Good story, narrator not so much
Voice characterization was terrible. The hero was made to sound more like an old hag than the tall/dark/handsome agent he was supposed to be. Very distracting and disappointing.

Great story, odd character voices
Great story, action and mystery with a bit of romance but not too tawdry. The ending threw in several key facts that the reader could not have known so it was a bit of a cheat in my mind. The narrator chose a voice for Luc Papadopolos that sounds like a 10 year old with a pinched nose. I guess she may never have met an adult male of deep Greek heritage. Is there no role for a producer that could be more important than directing the narration?

Annoying voice
The voice chosen for Luke was whiny and annoying, which is odd because the reader's voice is usually fine.
