Special Agent Jerry Simmons relocates from Toledo, Ohio to the FBI's White Collar and Organized Crime Unit in West Palm Beach, Florida -- a feeding ground for sharks of all types, both fish and con-artists. When Simmons is injured during the arrest, his relationship with Rachel gets its first test. Then, months later, as their romance develops, he volunteers to help his former office raid an informant/drug lord he once knew. When he is shot, just miles from her family's home in Ann Arbor, a new strain on their relationship forces each to decide between love and career.
