Publisher's Summary

Two years after his wife’s death, oceanographer and former navy SEAL, Atticus Young attempts to reconcile with his rebellious daughter, Giona, by taking her on the scuba dive of a lifetime - swimming with a pod of peaceful humpback whales in the Gulf of Maine. But the beauty of the sea belies a terror from the deep - a horrific creature as immense as it is ancient. There is no blood, no scream, no fight. Giona is swallowed whole by the massive jaws. Only Atticus remains to suffer the shame of the survivor and his inconsolable grief turns to an unquenchable thirst for revenge. Drawn by the spectacle, Trevor Manfred, a ruthless billionaire, approaches Atticus with a proposition: Trevor will make available all the advanced technology of his heavily armed mega-yacht, the Titan, to aid Atticus in his death-quest. In return, Trevor is to receive the beast’s corpse as the ultimate hunting trophy. But in the midst of the hunt, Atticus makes a terrifying discovery that changes the way he sees the ocean’s creatures and begs the question: What is Kronos? The answer sets him on a new and much more deadly course.

This updated edition has been reedited, revised, repackaged, and expanded, making this new edition of Kronos superior to all that came before.

Different for Jeremy Robinson

When I say different, I think it's because it is one of his older books.
His newer books are more intricate and mature.
This was an action packed romp, with a few twists and I really enjoyed it.
It's great to see how much his books have grown in intensity and intrigue.
Jeffrey Kafer rocks, as always. Great narration

Sci Fi + religion = awesome

First of all I don't agree with the other 2 reviews. This is exactly like other Jeremy Robinson books. It has all the Robinson elements. Sci Fi, action, love, religion, and monsters. Second it's DEFINITELY for atheists - OR religious people!

I was a full blown atheist when I started reading Robinson books. As I poured over the last 28 J.R. books my layers of doubt have been peeled back piece by piece. This book might have taken the final layer. There is one part that was really personal to me, and made me realise God might have been speaking to me all this time...I just didn't know what I should have been listening to until now. Some call it an inner voice, some call it conscience, some call it God.

J.R. has sent me on a wild journey into myself over this past year. I can't believe how much I've learned about myself, and how much I've grown from these stories.

But to put simply....
should you buy this book?
Absolutely.

Not for atheists

Not a book for atheists or scientific minded people.
The religious stuff diminished the story by a lot. It’s not a fictional storyline for me.
