This could have been a few more books. It was promising in the first book, with the cliffhanger ending, but as we moved through the second and third book the lack of depth in character development was disappointing. Happily ever after slow burn blah blah blah we have seen this so many times and I feel it was a swing and a miss at what it could have been an incredible series.
