Publisher's Summary

The VIs' revolt succeeded.

The digital beings took over the game world and ejected millions of players while keeping a few thousand trapped inside as their prisoners.

In the real world, Oren Berman is recovering from the mental trauma of being trapped, tortured, and abruptly ejected. But the company has come to him, hat in hand, asking him to reenter the game world. With the entire NPC population arrayed against the trapped players, Oren and his clan of monsters might be their only hope.

thought it was over but I'm glad he kept going

I was disappointed in how book 3 ended. I thought the author was giving up and wanted to end his series due to burn out or something. I am very glad to say I was wrong and this book was a really interesting story. I enjoyed the way he brought the MC back into neo and the excess supplies he had waiting for him let his village grow by leaps and bounds. Hope the next one doesn't take too long to come out.

Great book!

Great book as always kept me wanting more the whole time. I love how the author manages to get you hooked on every character they bring in.

SPOILER

One complaint would prob have to be this book really didn't go anywhere pretty much spent the book getting back into the game and building back up the village. I do feel the book is building up for something great but for now more waiting..

R green overlords do it again

The payoff is a little on the slow side but when he gets there it gets there this is a good arching book getting us ready for the next and last in the series of this arch And it does an amazing job of showing us the time dilation and how it affects the players and a monster's how it affects the whole civilization when the leaders are missing and there there is a A negative situation inside the video game both for the gain and the MP c's

Just another fight...

The book only really focused on a weird emotional relation that has to be told 200 times as well as fight scenes.

I love this Story & Author.

the Sound Effects ruin parts & cause me to have to re-listen to parts over.

the sound effects over power the words.

sad because I enjoy this world.....

Loved it!

This was another solid, if not improved addition to the series, and I would’ve never heard it if I continued to listen to the reviewers of Book 3 who said it was a tragic ending to such a promising series…. After waiting way too long to listen to the previous installment, I finally bought the audiobook and it was obvious the series would continue if you paid attention to the details in the last two chapters of Book 3. The series continues and I’m enjoying the ride.

They ruined a perfectly good lit RPG

The first three books get a 10 out of 10 for me. I was loving the story, the world, and the characters. All the progress of becoming the most powerful clan in the game was for nothing. The competition aspect of becoming the most powerful player in the game is gone. Its almost like the writer started a new story, Im not even interested in finishing the series now!!!!

Wow! More than I could have ever expected!

After the ending of book 3 I had no clue where the story would go. Let me just say, I was right I had no idea. New characters, faster pacing, town building on steroids, and more. If you aren’t sure if you want to continue, DO IT!
