Calming narration, good for sleep

After listening to this audio book a second time I still found the narrator's voice calming, but felt the flow of the story somewhat stilted. The segue from breath to
mantra lacked a smooth sounding transition and the mantra lacked enough repetition to allow for an easy release into a more meditative state. This book is free and worth a try if you're looking for a sleep aid and to spread some loving kindness .

I like The narrator's Voice

it was very helpful, although I'm not much for nachos. I'm a big fan of the narrator's voice however

very soothing

The message is relatively simple, however, the narrator's voice brings it home. Anyone struggling with falling asleep should definitely try this.

Continuity Element needed

The message and mantra are great, and Bran's voice is pleasant. But the spoken interjections are jarring because of the silence. A tonal continuum whether that is a flute, harmonious accapella or soft instrumentation would tie it all together.

Brought up negative topic

I was doing this meditation before sleep (which it is suggested for in the description), and right when I was relaxed and disarmed, he says "Imagine someone you love, living or dead," so of course I immediately thought of the most recent loved one of mine who has passed. Why on Earth did he need to mention that it could be someone we love who has died, as if that is not going to be an immediately upsetting topic? People can decide for themselves if they are already thinking of someone who has died. I would only ever want that mentioned in a grief and loss meditation, not a loving kindness sleep meditation. I became so distracted I had to pause for a few minutes, then moved onto a different meditation. Maybe not good for before sleep, depending on whether you know anyone who has died...

Awesome & beautiful

I fell asleep sending blessings. Just a beautiful experience and a thoroughly restful night’s sleep. Cannot wait to do this again.

Too many unnecessary interruptions

His continuous interruptions about negative feelings and emotions (that are not necessarily there) distract you from enjoying the meditation.

Relaxing and spiritual experience

I found this podcast to be very relaxing and spiritually uplifting. Narrator asks you to give and receive love to someone in your life, past or alive. Repeating positive statements of love and gratitude for this special person put me on a very good place. I did not use at bedtime yet, so not sure if its ability to induce sleep.

Superb

What a lovely voice! A beautiful meditation. When he said to think of someone, living or dead, who had made us happy — I thought of someone who’d died. And it was a very soothing recollection, not a negative one. I only wish Bram had more recordings like this, and longer ones! I would happily pay for more like this.

Soothing positivity!

Bram's voice is so soothing it helps me to relax. And the topic of focusing on people (and pets) that you love makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. I only wish the guided meditation would keep going!
