Interesting trailing threads of the story

If you liked the Expanse book series and want to explore further into more threads of the story during and after the books main story, this will most be enjoyable for you. Like the title, it’s like revisiting memories after the epic and seeing how people and places faired outside the main arc. Some things familiar and yet new, and even a heart felt goodbye.

Simply Spectacular

Memory's Legion does a beautiful job of filling in the curious holes in The Expanse, giving you extra detail and context to the events of the main series. Each of the stories is brilliant in their own right and I'm thrilled to have listened.

wonderful. just wonderful

I am continually amazed and delighted by the writing, vision and creativity of these authors. Jefferson Mays is the perfect narrator. I’m so sad this series is complete and waited to read the short stories until the full collection was available. I really loved the authors comments at the end of each story. Well worth the wait.

More pure enjoyment from James S. A. Corey

As a fan who has exhausted all the books and the TV series, and who thought she had to leave the Expanse behind at last, this book of short stories was a fine morsel. I especially loved "The Sins of the Fathers". I'm not an editor or a critic and can't tell you exactly why the Expanse characters, relationships, dilemmas, catastrophes, resolutions and existential challenges pulled me in so hard. I can tell you I want more. Can we ever hear the rest of Philip's story on Beta?

Its about damn time...

Been waiting for them to come out with a all in one comp of all the expanse novellas, and here it is. Great value credit wise compared to having to individually get one by one and that new novella at the end was just what i needed to cleanse my palette of the perverbial taste of the despare that this series ending brought on. Its a nice lil bonus to send us off with that im greatful for. Awesome work as always. I can't wait to see what they dream up next!

Genius on display

Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham are two of the best writers of our time. Why? Because they write stories that are timeless and classic. There’s an awful lot of mediocre dreck out there but the expanse series isn’t it. Great literature moves us and provides us with insight into what it means to be human. I’ve never ceased to be amazed at the ability of these two to create characters that you instantly care about. Their gift for character development is unsurpassed. The understanding of human relationships and interaction is profound almost to the point of leaving you wondering that these guys can’t possibly have anything wrong in their lives given their complete understanding of human nature and emotions. The thing I always tell people about the Expanse is that if humanity ever makes it to the point of planetary colonization it’ll be similar to this story. This series is a very plausible model of how that occurs. Amazing writing as usual. Jefferson Mays delivers the prose with his usual uncanny brilliance. Having him as narrator for this series is one of the best casting decisions ever. Whomever was responsible for that should get a promotion or whatever professional kudos get handed out for that sort of decision making ability. Anyway great series of side stories within the expanse universe. I just found myself wanting to find out more about how the two children ended up getting captured by Dr. Cortazza.

The best of sci-fi

I have read a lot of sci-fi over the years. Not many would I read twice. A handful thrice. I expect to listen to The Expanse once a year for the foreseeable future.

Really Great Read

I thought I would get bored with this because of having listened to the whole "The Expanse" series. WOW was I wrong. Every single story was so good that I went back and listened twice. All of them of course, bringing back the full impact of the Expanse series. Would really recommend for anyone that enjoyed the Expanse series. Hope these guys keep coming up with stories like these!

waste of money

if you have read even a couple of the novellas you will soon realize that this is nothing but a credit grab by Audible and the publisher. shame

Just a collection of books I already have

I had most of these in separate novellas. I was disappointed and felt somewhat ripped off.

loved it

it was nice to have all the novellas in one compilation and the addition of the future Philip Nagata story was awesome. my only complaint is that I want more books in the Expanse universe. ❤️

Getting to the Last Column

"Memory's Legion" combines all of the novellas in the Expanse series.  The Expanse novels are the best science fiction that is out there.  Reading these short stories all in a row was like looking at a spreadsheet and getting to the last column and seeing the final total.  Knowing that all of the checks and balances are in place, makes the series complete.

Filled in some holes but...

These short stories were a bit too abbreviated and left me with other questions. It was nice to close some gaps.
