Publisher's Summary

A quiet English village is plagued by a fiendish serial killer in Queen of Mystery Agatha Christie's classic thriller, Murder is Easy.

Luke Fitzwilliam does not believe Miss Pinkerton's wild allegation that a multiple murderer is at work in the quiet English village of Wychwood and that her local doctor is next in line.

But within hours, Miss Pinkerton has been killed in a hit-and-run car accident. Mere coincidence? Luke is inclined to think so - until he reads in the Times of the unexpected demise of Wychwood's Dr. Humbleby....

one of my favorite Christie's

I already loved this book, but now I can enjoy listening, too. I tried to think of something to say about the narrator, but can't. Which means it was excellent because it didn't intrude on the story.

good story not a great narrator

this narrator didn't do anything terrible, she just wasn't very good. she sounded wooden and spoke very slowly. the story was typical Agatha Christie though without either of her two main protagonists whom I missed.

Great ending!!

Such a good story! I was drawn in by the setting right away. There was a diverse cast of interesting characters. The ending was one of the most satisfying endings of any of Christie's books, in my opinion. And the narrator was excellent.

Good Christie story, good narration by Whelan

An enjoyable Christie story. This is supposedly a Superintendent Battle story, but he doesn't come in to it until the end. Gemma Whelan does a good job with the narration.
