The My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror Complete Series Bundle is 6 Full Books of Magic Academy LitRPG adventure about a young man who accidentally summons a mysterious monster during his studies of magic.
Damien nearly ended the world. Now, his mistake might be the only thing that can save it.
Good things come to those who wait. Damien Vale didn’t, and he ended up bound to an Eldritch creature from beyond the reaches of space. It has lived since the dawn of time, seen the world born and destroyed countless times, and wants to be called Henry.
Unusual companion or not, Damien was still determined to go to a mage college and study magic. He wants nothing more than to live normal life as a researcher, but if Henry’s true nature is revealed, he’ll be killed.
To top it all off, Damien’s teacher is a madman from the front lines of war, his alcoholic dean suspects something is awry with his companion, and Blackmist might possibly be the worst school in history. Damien has to prevent the end of the world, but he isn’t even sure he’s going to make it through Year One at Blackmist.
Experience this special edition bundle of a LitRPG Series in a magic school setting. A slow build power fantasy from Actus, the bestselling author of Return of the Runebound Professor. It's perfect for fans of Cradle, Iron Prince, and Mage Errant.

When it comes to action and adventure, every hero needs a good sidekick. Holmes has Watson, Batman has Robin, and Daniel has . . . Orrin. More like brothers than friends, they always have each other's backs. And as Daniel is the big, strong, handsome type, Orrin is more than happy to remain in his shadow at school, at parties, pretty much everywhere. Then things take a turn for the truly weird when a terrible accident catapults the pair into a world totally unlike their own, in which the rules of a role-playing game hold sway.

When calamitous events unfold and draw him into events bigger than himself, Orodan's battle-loving disposition leads to a warrior's death. Then he wakes up again at the start of the Cataclysm. Then again. And again. In a world of skills, titles, and blessings, a smart time-looper would perhaps scheme, plan, amass equipment, and allies. But not Orodan. If there's one thing he's good at, it's stubbornly trying the same thing over and over again via brute force till it's done.

And first few books spend waaay too much much time recapping stats which gets very repetitive and breaks immersion.
Other than that, good story performed well. Definitely worth the listen.
Great story

best listen ever!
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
What I likes:
* charactes are fun, especially Henry and a lot of other side characters
* romance is very well done - relationship devloped slowly, the girl stands besides MC in both power and will as an equal, not just a side character
* story/fight scenes are decent and doesn't drag
* story is finished with satifactory conclusion
What I don't like:
* it's not really a LitRPG - the RPG part are limited to an artifact provided by the school to estimate student's strength in numbers, but it's inaccurate, can be tempered with, and completely forgotten in later half of the book.
* MC doesn't learn a lot depite being in a college - the spells in this world takes a couple hours to learn, but requires many months of training to master, so MC only learned 5 spells in the whole book (ingoring his companion's abililties), and all of them belong to one of MC's elemental affinities (out of three) and are not very imaginative
* the academy setting itself is pretty much 24/7 non-stop training, not very exciting
* bad pacing near the end - stuff happened too sudden and too fast, and some of them doesn't make sense
Good value with flaws

Narrator gives maximum effort. Very well done.
interesting setup. Title basically explains it. Solid conclusion.
Author loses track of the numbers/details including what year they are in for a book and a half. Does not impact the story, but breaks the illusion.
Good series, strong finish, could use editing
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
For me, the worst thing by far was the narration. It would be a barely acceptable performance for a grandpa reading a bedtime story to a kid. But against the Audible standards it's mediocre at best. Through the whole book, the narrator emphasizes every word, like reading Snow White to a 5 year old. Also, every character sounds exactly the same so there's no way to figure out who's talking unless the author mentions it.
Cute kids story
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
very good over all
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
now for the compliant, and it may have a few semi fore knowledge. I dunno if the author ever reads this, fingers crossed he does cause this needs improvement. and a terrible terrible editor not being able to catch this (I'm terrible at English and I keep noticing it). but he can't seem to keep his words straight, for example "they practiced a few dozen times then stay once they've done it 12 times they moved on, or he repeated the spell hundreds of times, then once he did it a hundred times he stopped, or about to talk about 2 ??, then bounces around with a few and half a dozen then goes back to saying a couple ??. also he completely skips year 2, after a few weeks into it and now there all of a sudden in year 3, no summer no proper time frame, just gone.. this author can't seem to keep his words straight at all.. and makes it confusing for the listener.
great book, terrible editor
