Publisher's Summary

Tracking dogs were unable to find a scent and strangely refuse to track, at all. Still, Major Andrews continued to hike the area meticulously, crisscrossing the backpack discovery site in over 17 passes. A blood-covered parka belonging to Professor Ciccotti was suddenly found in the same area they had searched several times previously. One of the rangers told us, “It was like it had been tossed over a cliff to taunt the rescuers.” Several US Rangers under the command of Major Andrews fired shots up into the cliff at one point during the futile exploration. But the government denied the report of any shots ever being fired.

However, the first interview of those brave soldiers probing for the missing professor stated, “A hairy biped suddenly appeared on the high cliff above us. He then threw a 200-pound boulder at an arching trajectory down at us.” Sargent Loftus added, “We were forced to fire upon the creature. Upon our recon team scaling the cliff face, all we discovered was blood and a few tuffs of hair from an unknown species.”

The second interview stated, “No shots were fired. Nothing out of the ordinary was seen.” Nonetheless, the search team of professional special ops was shaken up by whatever it was that they didn’t shoot at.

To add fuel to the conspiracy theory, the missing victim appears to have traveled a vast distance into a location which should be physically impossible to reach. Also, personal possessions of professor Ciccotti were located over two separate mountain ranges, as well as several creeks and rivers. How is this possible, and just what did he see before his untimely death?

Judging from the many miles away that his hiking boot was found, there was no way he could have walked over this hellish terrain barefooted. He would’ve had to have traveled 57 miles over deep-packed, frozen snow in a motor vehicle-free zone. His rucksack and bound journals were eventually found 1,400 feet higher up than where he was last seen.
