Every moment of this audiobook is interesting, engaging and beautiful. Having read the book I knew Damian and Chelsea’s story to be remarkably breathtaking!! But hearing it come to life on audio is positively AMAZING! Perfectly narrated!! This heart-gripping and heartwarming story will forever be one of the best books I have ever listened to!!Congratulations Penelope🙌🏻

I was really hoping for cute quirky dogs-brought-us-close together kinda book. Though I think that's what it was going for, fell short for me. The dog parts seem forced and thrown in. Instead you get one very... very long miscommunication trope.

It also read as a dark romance at times. Since it isn't one, it came across as more creepy or future psychological thrillerish. That and completely random lines, like no point at all to them. The romance seemed rushed and what was meant to be deep just wasn't or completely inappropriate when you thought about it. Over all disappointed especially with how the characters are describing others. So much name calling and judgement based exaggerations. I'm glad I didn't read the stepbrother book. Not just because I didn't like this one, but because he was completely villainized. I doubt you'd still like his character after ready this book if you did before.
