Logan and Aster’s story was so beautiful. I love a good second chance romance and this was one for the books! They try to keep the past out of their present and they succeed for a while, until they have no choice but to confront it. It was also great to catch up with the other two Lawsons and their families. The bond between the three brothers is amazing to see.
Amy’s world building is second-to-none and her language is so descriptive, it’s part of the reason why I love listening to her books. And I think I would listen to Erin Mallon read a grocery list and Zachary Webber never disappoints, so this was a combination of the ages for me!
I’m so looking forward to Tessa’s book next and I have my theories on this one, so keeping my fingers crossed that I’m right!

Logan is the youngest of the Lawson men and they tried to shield him from the MC world...but he was forced to use his skills regardless and that's where he met Aster.
Aster is destined to belong to someone else but still longs for freedom. But life has a way of forcing her hand.
Flash forward seven years and Logan and Aster have a second chance, but there is past hurt they need to overcome and trust to rebuild; Logan suggests they never look back. There is also the small issue of Aster's husband...however Logan is not letting her go this time and would die for her.
The passion and chemistry between these two is off the charts and everytime Logan says "who do you belong to" I almost combust. And when he calls her his Little Star I swoon, it's the perfect combination.

Their story was heartbreaking, powerful, and beautiful. Logan and Aster shared a secret love when they were young. Forbidden from even speaking, they would meet up in secret, exchange notes, and dream of a future together. They were young kids in love and had been ready to fight their families’ expectations and rules to have a future before it was all ripped away from them. Years later, Logan hates Aster for choosing another man over him and caving to her family’s expectations. But Logan has no idea the pain Aster has been in since the night that sealed their fate and forced them apart. He has no idea the truths she’s been hiding to keep him safe.
The chemistry between these two characters was incredible. A.L. Jackson sure knows how to deliver a heart breaking, edge of your seat romance, that delivers all the complicated feelings.
