Publisher's Summary

Despite all the advantages that came with being a Titan, for Thorn, it has come with equally Titan-sized problems.

Thorn has freed himself from an ancient curse and cleared up the political turmoil in the capital, but the looming threat to Northern Angoril posed by the Orc invasion of Rasyn carries him back to the Elven island. But not before he deals with a cultist infestation in his own home.

Beset by enemies on all sides, Thorn must choose between keeping himself safe or throwing himself into the jaws of danger to honor the commitments he has made to his friends and allies. When he faces foes he cannot overpower with brute strength, it will take all of his wisdom and fortitude to keep him and his allies alive.

Haven't been disappointed yet!

I have listened to and enjoyed every title in the Titan series! The characters and storylines are compelling! Seth Ring's approach to fantasy is creative and refreshing!

Good book with one little annoyance.

As always, I loved the story and the depiction of the characters.
The only downside to this book is when the characters read a quest over and over. It is fine when it has been a long time since it was read for us or if you read it in a book, but it is annoying when the narrator read a long quest page 3 times in a row with only a few minutes between them.

Titan series.

Being a gamer, I liked the idea of an RPG set in a virtual world. Listening to Eric read this series, his voice acting is fun adding to the story from high pitches to deep baratones for the characters. This being the 5th book in the Titan series I would highly recommend you start with Nova Terra Titan and Greymane.

Too much repetition

Thorn the unbeatable God is constantly stripped of his abilities so some conclusions do not appear obvious. Several entire chapters are spent going thru Thorn's growing list of abilities and antagonists are then presented with abilities that ignore them. It becomes dreary and boring as minute details of simple actions are repeated over and over while the story stumbles along. I purchased the series, unfortunately, or I would have abandoned the effort 1/2 way thru this book.
