Publisher's Summary
When a blood-soaked old man is spotted wandering through a sleepy fishing village in the far north of Scotland, his neighbours think he’s been in an accident.
That is, until he leads them to his home and to the mutilated remains of his late wife.
It is the first murder that the remote Highland village has ever seen. It will not be the last. Someone is targeting the elderly and vulnerable in their homes. Someone they know. Someone they trust.
Arriving to lead the manhunt, DCI Jack Logan finds a close-knit community closing ranks. Can Jack break down the wall of silence before more lives are lost? Or, in this twisted, sadistic killer, has Jack Logan finally met his match?
One for the Ages is the 16th book in the multimillion-selling DCI Jack Logan series from Scottish crime author JD Kirk.

The Very Best
Brilliant writing, fabulous narrator. I didn’t think it was possible to get so attached to a series of books. Please keep writing and have Angus King read them so I can be excited by a story and laugh out loud. Thank you so very much.

AMAZING!!
I absolutely love the Logan series. Also Bob Hoon. I just have to hear one of the characters mention his name and it immediately puts a grin on my face! Wondering what he'll be getting up to next! Angus King is really amazing. All the voices and the accents as well as the dry humour! I've found another series that I like by searching his name on Audible. Thank heavens!! I'm really looking forward to JD Kirk's next release so because I'm a senior I wondered if he could move it along a little quicker!! 😊

Absolutely Brilliant
This book had me laughing out loud, which is great unless you are sitting in a waiting room and people are edging a little further away from you with a look of fear! The 16th in the DCI Logan series and, dare I say, the best yet. The characters are so comfortable with each other and like old friends to me. I did shed a tear at the end, mind you. Angus King’s narration once again brings the characters to life with his one-person cast of voices. Kirk and King are a match made in heaven. Just brilliant!

Yet another terrific DCI Logan mystery
Well, I’ve now listened to all of the DCI Logan Scottish crime novels and must say that they are just terrific. I look forward to new ones being added. But am hooked on the genre and the performance by Angus King (who more than brings the books to life). Well, well written and incomparably well told. Thank-you!!
