Andrew Pyper est auteur et vit à Toronto. Son premier roman, Lost Girls, a été classé parmi les livres de l’année du New York Times et a figuré sur la liste des livres à succès du New York Times et du Times (Royaume-Uni). Le démonologue a remporté un prix International Thriller Writers, et The Residence est en cours d’adaptation pour la télévision, où il prendra la forme d’une série de docufiction, présentée par Discovery. Oracle est son premier titre entièrement pensé pour l’audio.

À propos du narrateur

Depuis qu’il a incarné Rock dans la série télévisée du même nom en 1986, Patrick Labbé a enchaîné les rôles importants. À la télévision, nous avons pu le suivre dans plusieurs séries, telles que Lance et compte, La vie, la vie, Yamaska, Mirador, District 31 – pour laquelle il a été sélectionné dans la catégorie Meilleur premier rôle masculin aux Prix Gémeaux de 2018 –, Virage et Classé secret, pour n’en nommer que quelques-unes. Il a également participé à plusieurs long-métrages, dont Les boys, et, plus récemment, Les vieux chums. Patrick Labbé s’est aussi illustré sur le marché anglophone, entre autres dans les productions The Dead Zone, Quantico, Street Legal et The Transplant. Oracle est le troisième livre audio auquel le comédien prête sa voix.

Excellent thriller épeurant !

Je n'ai pas l'habitude de ce genre. Mais j'ai été tenue en haleine jusqu'à la fin. Excellente narration de Patrick Labbé. Vraiment. On ne peut que constater son talent d'acteur. Il nous livre une performance remarquable. Bravo.

Bon suspense

c'était mon premier livre audio.
l'histoire est bonne, un peu prévisible mais bien interprétée.
j'ai eu besoin de m'adapter quelques fois au changement de ton du narrateur, probablement des lectures faites à différents moments .
