About this listen

After surviving childhood at the snooty, stuck-up boarding school for budding omegas, I have everyone convinced I'm a dud.

My awakening? Never gonna happen. Heat, mates, and a fairytale pack life? Maybe next reincarnation. All I want is to be left alone.

I'm invisible, and headed to a blissful solo future until the Wyvern Pack destroys my dream of independence. But Atlas, Hunter, Finn, Jett, and Orion are poison candy. They don't want an omega, but they need one, even if there will never be a real spot for me in their pack.

Who needs a pack? I’ll keep myself safe, same as always. I'll never awaken, and I'll never ever give the Wyverns my heart...because all they'll do is rip me apart.

This book contains a slow burn, high heat, and growly alpha males. It's intended for mature listeners due to MM content, frequent cursing, and references to past assault that may be disturbing. The author not responsible for any ugly crying.

I was hooked after a few chapters. The man narrator’s voice took a little getting used to to but all in all, strongly recommend.

Captivating

These narrator’s really brought the characters to life and the story ran smoothly. I loved this as a book I read and Lola really picked the right voices for this book. I could listen to them for hours and did! Would highly recommend, cannot wait for part 2!

I went into Pack Darling honestly expecting to hate it. The “two omegas in a pack” trope has never worked for me. I’ve read multiple books with it and it always felt forced, rushed, or just didn’t make sense.
But this book completely changed my mind.
The way Lola Rock handled the dynamic was so well done. Nothing felt instant or fake. The tension, the instincts, the conflict , it all felt real and earned instead of just thrown together for the trope.
Orion and Lilah were easily my favorite part. Their dynamic had so much depth and resistance before connection, which made every shift between them hit harder. Orion kept his identity and didn’t get reduced to a stereotype, and Lilah didn’t just fall into place . she stood her ground.
And Lilah?? I LOVED her. She wasn’t some weak FMC waiting to be saved. She fought for herself, endured everything thrown at her, and honestly felt like she was the one holding everything together. She didn’t just survive, she changed the pack.
This book took a trope I usually avoid and made me love it.
10/10 already want to reread!!!
