Publisher's Summary

With the noble Emperor Sanguinius ruling from Macragge, Imperium Secundus stands as a lone beacon of hope even as the Warmaster's forces continue to ravage the rest of the galaxy.

Roboute Guilliman, still Master of Ultramar, has convinced his brother that Terra has fallen and that the mysterious Mount Pharos on Sotha now holds the key to mankind's future. But the Night Lords, those cruel and pitiless sons of Konrad Curze, have been watching from the shadows and make ready to launch their long-planned attack on the Pharos itself....

Praise for Haley!

One of my favourite books of the heresy so far. Can't wait to read more.

Great Story

I wasn't expecting much from this one, but turned out to truly enjoy it. Great characters, and a well orchestrated plot (though it helps to have read the preceding short stories each pertaining to characters: Dantioch, Polux, Skraivoc and Corvo).

It was okay

Interesting to hear about the night lords but I just feel like with the whole imperium seceundus series the overarching plot barely moves forward. Just like the first book the unrememebered empire this one happens over the course of a couple of days, and it feels slow at times.

A Perfect Horus Heresy Book

I highly recommend this book for its great and realistic plot, engaging characters, and awesome detail of the Pharos.
