Publisher's Summary
Tex gave everything he had to his country and his SEAL teammates. When an IED took away part of his leg, and his career, he devoted himself to his country and friends from behind his computer. He's always been the man that can find anyone, that uses his computer skills, legal and illegal, to keep people safe and to put the bad guys behind bars.
But behind a computer is a lonely place to be. While he might put on a good front, Tex can't help but feel he's missing out when he sees how happy his friends are. But when the woman he's been talking to online for the last six months suddenly disappears without a word, Tex knows it's time to step up and use his skills for himself this time.
Protecting Melody is the seventh book in the SEAL of Protection series. It can be heard as a standalone, but it's recommended you hear the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

Hate the graphic sex
I don’t like graphic sex in my romantic suspense and yes, there are tons of authors who don’t use graphic sex in their books: Irene Hannon, Lynette Eason, and Dee Henderson just to Name a few. Plus these books are much better written!

Excellent series
Stella Bloom is one of my favorite narrators so that was icing on this cake of goodness. This series is well written, the characters are strong and the stories deep. I just wish I knew how Benny got his nickname.

Same same
The first four books in the series are very good. A compilation of action and romance after that it just turned into a smutty romance which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for but I like the combination better I’ve stopped reading the series.

The quality of this book is so bad.
I’ve listen to all of the books in this series and I like Stella Bloom’s narration. But this book is soooo bad. The quality of the audio is terrible, she sounds muffled and far away.
Which really bums me out since I wanted to hear Tex’s story.

Poor Tex deserved a better story
I was so excited for this book... I have loved Tex throughout the series. I expected a better story for him though. Absolutely still love Tex but this book just lacked. The hashtag thing and the “this is ours, you can’t do it” really just bugged me and felt like a seriously childish especially toward Tex. Not my favorite of the series and the heroine in no way matches up to the others.

Not up to Ms Harber standards
The story isn’t good or bad - it just is. More like a hallmark mystery movie. Disappointing, even I figured out who the stalker was - and the prologue of this story was completely maddening.

Anticlimactic
I was really looking forward to Tex’s story. He’s such a great character in the other books in the series. And I like his book...but it just left me kind of meh. I was expecting a bigger, better, more exciting tale. He’s been such a centerpiece to the series I’m surprised the other characters didn’t show up more in his story. Maybe I just built him up so big in my head that my expectations for this book could not be met by such a simple storyline.
