So imaginative and extremely well read. I’ve already purchased the second one. I’m worried that it can’t possibly live up to the first, but here I go nonetheless.

Pleasantly surprised, the book was much better than I expected. The narrator really does a great job voicing the characters and the worldbuilding is immersive.

A strong story and wonderful characters. Perhaps sometimes the consistency of the character was lost - or perhaps I just expected a different reaction form them. The Narrator made me believe the languages and people were real. I felt like she was from this land herself and knew the stories like nursery rhymes from her childhood.

Jordan you have out done yourself with this book. It is amazing. I've fallen in love with every character. This was written so well! Im currently on the 2nd book and already getting excited. I really hope this becomes a show or movie. I love this so much!!

This is my first YA and fantasy read in some time and I’m so pleased that it was via Audible. The narrator brought a beautiful world, solid characters, and outstanding story to life in a way that kept me entertained to the very end. Highly recommend!

The heading says it all. If you've seen Ella Enchanted, this story will feel very familiar, the drunk fairy, musical numbers, and talking books. Overall, most of the same plot points fit... Political injustice, family drama, magical people, actions dictated by enchantment, and a prince who is a better option, with the right woman by his side.

This story details love, friendship, and honesty. I enjoyed listening to it. The only problem I had is the continuous stopping and starting. I believe there is a glitch in the recording.

This is the most creative fiction I’ve read or listened to in decades. The performance is equal to the narrative. Also not a YA reader AND…this story is ageless. I’ll be “re-listening” soon and highly recommend it to those who enjoy this genre.

The world and characters of this novel were amazingly rich and detailed, but I sometimes felt that the pacing lagged. I found it very fresh and the prose exquisite.

I had a full on blast listening to this story. I don't think reading it would do it justice. The story telling, accents, songs and emotions are perfectly captured throughout. Hope there's another one. Or at least more stories from this author. Well done.
