So imaginative and extremely well read. I’ve already purchased the second one. I’m worried that it can’t possibly live up to the first, but here I go nonetheless.

Pleasantly surprised, the book was much better than I expected. The narrator really does a great job voicing the characters and the worldbuilding is immersive.

A strong story and wonderful characters. Perhaps sometimes the consistency of the character was lost - or perhaps I just expected a different reaction form them. The Narrator made me believe the languages and people were real. I felt like she was from this land herself and knew the stories like nursery rhymes from her childhood.

Jordan you have out done yourself with this book. It is amazing. I've fallen in love with every character. This was written so well! Im currently on the 2nd book and already getting excited. I really hope this becomes a show or movie. I love this so much!!

This is my first YA and fantasy read in some time and I’m so pleased that it was via Audible. The narrator brought a beautiful world, solid characters, and outstanding story to life in a way that kept me entertained to the very end. Highly recommend!
