It feels like a heavy influence from hunger games and divergent, with some other influences. I enjoyed the story, and will continue on with the next book.

The narrator was excellent, and read at a really good pace. I was able to feel engaged while listening to her. I found the story to be incredibly predictable, and bordered on Hunger Games/Divergent-esk. It was overall just… fine. Not super interested in reading the other books.

I love the narrator! I have read this book before but hearing it is something my totally different. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys action, special powers, bits of a love story, twists and turns. Try this out! I love it!

Loved this book, and I wasn’t sure if I would like the narrator at first but she turned out to be great. Can’t wait to hear what happens next, already got the second book.
