I didn’t really find anything special with this story. The narrator, Daniela Acitelli, really put an end to me enjoying the story.

She could not do any of the accents, instead she slowed her speech, talked in a deeper tone and over enunciated words. Not sure why she thought this was creating an accent?

I have the first two Dear Maud books but just can’t imagine listening to Daniela Acitelli for 22 hours doing that “weird” accentless thing. So they will go into my dnf pile.

My advice to the author, make sure you get a narrator that can do accents if they are required otherwise you are waisting you money and mine!

Story was just okay. Narrator was not!
