Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Corinne Michaels comes a new second-chance stand-alone love story.

At 18, I walked away from Willow Creek Valley for good. I was young, scared, and stupid, and it cost me the love of my life - Grayson Parkerson.

Fourteen years later, a crash sends me back home to recover.

Back to where we met, fell in love, and planned a future. The one he’s now living as a single dad to his daughter. Working at The Park Inn together gives us a chance to reconnect, and seeing him with his little girl makes me long for the days when he was mine. One look in his gorgeous blue-green eyes, and it’s like I never left. One kiss, and my world is upside down. One night together, and I know without a doubt, in his arms is where I belong.

I’m not the girl I was - intimidated by his wealthy family and desperate to escape our small town. I can imagine a new life for us here.

But he’s learned to guard his heart, and trust won’t come easily. How can I convince him to give first love a second chance?

Return to Us

"Take the hand outstretched when you’re weak and let it lend you strength."

Return to Us is a captivating second chance romance that pulls you in and holds on from the very beginning.

Grayson and Jessica were high school sweethearts who thought they would be together forever until she walked away to try and save both of them. Jessica returns home to recover after a plane crash ends her career. Greyson still lives in town raising his little girl. As their lives intertwine again there is hope brewing to put the past behind them and return to what they once were.

I laughed, cried and grinned from ear to ear. Grayson and Jessica never stopped
loving each other. Grayson's daughter Amelia is the most adorable little girl
ever. The secondary characters are great and make me excited for more from the series. The unexpected twists were quite a shock as well. This was my first Corinne Michaels book and I am wishing I had read her books sooner and look forward to catching up on her books.

Audio: Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were the perfect voices for Grayson and Jessica and the two made the perfect couple.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING I love Grayson although I think Jessica is his soulmate. Jessica left Willow Creek Valley looking to spread her wings, but after being injured in a plane crash where she was the flight attendant, returns for the first time in years, to recover at home. Jess heart prevented her from returning home before this knowing she had left the love of her life. In Grayson's eyes, Jess was the one that got away. She is the love of his life and he never understood how she could leave him. Grayson is living his life, raising his little girl Amelia, whose mother moves to Paris when her daughter was born. When Jess returns, it is hard not to avoid each other in a small town, especially when your friends and siblings are conniving, making them remember what they had. Will Grayson prove to Jess, that he was always waiting for her to return? Ultimately, will they be able to overcome the truth of why Jess really left? Can Grayson and Jessica show that soulmates really can overcome it all? Absolutely a one click book!!!!!!!

So Looking Forward to the Next One

Michaels did not disappoint on this one. Similar to the Arrowood Brothers series and Salvation Series, Return to Us gave a picture of a beautiful love story plus a glimpse into the family and friends. She’s one of my favorite writers because of how to makes you feel as if you really know the characters. Andi and Sebastian were the icing on the cake!!

Perfect!

This is one of those books that makes you realize how all the other books you thought were good, just aren’t even close to the level of story telling of this one. Can’t really describe what it is that makes this so good - all the pieces just fell in to their right places. I am very much looking forward to this series!

So close but missed the finality!

Overall the book was pretty good but I don’t know what happened at the end. It was like Ms. Michael just stopped writing the story and jumped into the epilogue. The wedding should had been their happy ending and finality of the book. Instead, the wedding was cut short by incorporating the exposure of the new “couple.” I get where Ms. Michael was going but in my opinion it came at the expense of this great love story.

Stunning and emotional second chance romance

Corinne Michaels has started a new series with a beautiful, emotion and enchanting second chance romance. Return to Us shows that love can not only help someone heal, it can also give two hearts that have been broken for years the jump start that they need to be happy and satisfied.

Grayson and Jessica were in love once upon a time, but their backgrounds didn't mesh, and Grayson's family did not approve. Jessica left, and just stayed away for years because leaving Grayson was one of the hardest things she'd ever done. But an accident sends Jessica home to recuperate, and wouldn't you know, the best kind of healing she can do is learning to love Grayson again.

Hearing their story unfold was beautiful. Their love was able to transcend they years, the hurt, the family manipulation, and really free them both. I can't wait for more in this series. Corinne Michaels builds families that are complicated, sometimes a little bit tortured, but she always gives the entire family the happily-ever-after results that they are due.

The audio, narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, is stunning, emotional and engrossing.

narrator is awful

The male narrator was terrible and the language between the men was nothing but crude the story line was such a stretch and very boring don't waste your time.

Great start for this series

It’s a great start for this series. I love Grayson and Jessica! Amelia/Melia is so adorable. The second chance/single dad trope is always a great story from Corinne Michaels books and it’s always a good read. Andi and Sebastian are always amazing!
The rest of the characters in this book are amazing too and I’ll be looking forward for their own love story. I can’t wait for the next book.

It was ok but hard to get through.

I started skipping 30 second intervals to speed it up half way through unfortunately. Personally I understand some of her issues but to not face them with a therapist is stupid and kind of weak IMHO. “I don’t want to talk about that” is like a slap in the face to those who want help and can’t get it. Wanting to live this blissfully ignorant life (as she put it) is unrealistic. You have someone there to help you and you’re wasting it! Not many people have that opportunity. Idk. Clearly NOT talking about things is why you feel this way in the beginning. Has no one researched how holding in shame will damage you and your relationships? Or that vulnerability isn’t always a bad thing? Ugh.

I didn’t really “like” her as you can tell and when I read I’m not looking for weak heroines. I want strong, badass women that I can emulate, relate to, or look up to. The book wasn’t horrible and the narrators are always top notch at their job. It just wasn’t the story for me I guess.
