It was all he had to do. Instead, he got on that bus and took my heart with him.
That was 17 years ago.
I moved on. Marriage. Kids. White picket fence. Everything I ever wanted, but my husband betrayed me and I was left once again.
Alone, penniless, and with two boys, I had no choice but to return to Tennessee. He wasn't supposed to be there. I should've been safe. However, fate has a way of stepping in.

Love that little twist
Story gets alittle corny like every romance put is still pretty good. The tiny twist near end (her SECRET) not sure why such a big deal was made of it by him when she only knew 2 weeks longer than him and his exgirlfriend told him -he should have asked her not ignored her.

Pleasantly Surprised
I've never read Corinne Michaels before. The audio was great, story moved at a fast pace and I devoured in just one day. Definitely worth a listen.

Ordinary
I love these narrators, but the book itself wasn’t exciting. Was more depressing that anything. Although I could see the effort to make the romance work, I just didn’t feel it, it was forced and very predicable.

Man what a tear jerker
Loved the emotional rollercoaster that the characters went through but was almost too much. overall it was a great read.

Why?? Why?? Why??
I must start by saying the narrators did an amazing job! Its the main character that pissed me off. The lady created so much unnecessary BS by assuming stuff. Why can't we have a good strong female character in romance novels?? The main female lead created most of her own problems and tried to blame everyone else. I wonder how she got her head so far up her behind?! can anyone please recommend a romance novel with a true badass female lead??
