Max wanted to be a [Baker].

Settle down, bake stuff, and enjoy life. The gods, however, ruined that dream.

Given [Baker] and a rare black skill, he is now running for his life, trying to grow strong enough to return home. Now, Max must find a way to grow strong enough to survive the people and the god hunting him. Unprepared for an adventurer's life, Max will have to learn things the hard way as he hides his secret lest his fellow adventurers turn on him.

I like how the different accents and all are portrayed but when reading the character stats, the narrator speeds up to a point where it’s incredibly hard to understand what’s what. It’s as if he thinks the numbers are boring so might as well skip over them. Every time he reads the stats I have to go back and play at 80% speed to be able to tell what stat changed.

Narrator rushes a lot

Great Story and well written. really enjoying all aspects of the story. Definitely worth getting into if you like LitRPGs.

Cool concept

MC's power resembles a blue mage where he gets skills from monsters and I find this premise is very unique and interesting. The story also managed to avoid some common pit falls of the genre - it progressed at a very good pacing where fights/conversations doesn't drag, and MC's mind is pretty healthy.

Good story idea but not a lot of depth. Still kept me engaged. Narrator rushes at times and sounds like a UFC announcer during fight scenes which breaks immersion

Good story

SPOILER ALERT!!!

The series starts off good but goes down hill pretty quick. As soon as he starts talking to his skill is when it starts getting bad. They all start crying, literally crying, almost every 2 or 3 chapters about one thing or another.

On top of that there is basically no story, They go into a dungeon, cry about how Max levels up fast, some kind of immediate drama happens where they cry a little bit, they then make up everything is now fine and then they do the same thing over again.

Book 1 was good, book 2 was ok, book three is getting hard to continue.
