About the Host

Noah Reid is an accomplished theatre, film & TV actor and musician who played ''Patrick'' in the global television smash Schitt’s Creek. He won a Screen Actors Guild Award along with his cast-mates for Best Ensemble, was nominated three times for a Canadian Screen Award and won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Comedy. His soulful acoustic cover of Tina Turner’s ''Simply the Best'' in Season 4 landed atop the iTunes charts. He released his third solo record, Adjustments, in June of 2022.

An actor since the age of eight, Reid began his career as ''Chip'' in the Toronto Mirvish production of Beauty and the Beast. He played the title role of Hamlet at Toronto’s Tarragon Theatre and starred in Morris Panych’s Trespassers, for which he won the prestigious John Hirsch Award given to the most promising actor in the Stratford Festival company. He most recently starred in Broadway debut of Tracy Letts’ newest work, The Minutes, in the spring of 2022.

Reid also originated the voice of the beloved ''Franklin the Turtle'' in the animated TV series Franklin. Further television credits include Strange Days at Blake Holesy High, Terry, Kevin From Work, Backpackers, the miniseries Titanic written by Julian Fellowes, House of Lies, The Firm and Rookie Blue. Noah currently stars in Brian Watkins’ series Outer Range opposite Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots and Lewis Pullman for Amazon, which debuted in spring 2022.

lovely for relaxing - not for sleeping

love Noah's voice,and the beginning trees are lovely, but the caw of the birds from mid to end kept waking me up. It was nice to have on in the background while working though.

loud squaking ruins the mood!

I love sleep sounds and Noah Reid is an excellent narrator. but I feel like the editor didn't listen to the full recording as halfway through the "nestling birds" begin squaking extremely loud and chaotically to the point where I bolted upright as though the alarm from the purge was blaring in my room

Not a fan of the birds

I think it's the birds chirping that bothered me. It was terribly distracting and not relaxing to hear that sound. Took me out of a restful state, for sure. The rest of the episodes have been much better.

Just the Hygge I needed


I utilized this podcast a little different than suggested. I work a week on/week off schedule, night shift & it is often very stressful. My commute is 12-15 minutes, & last week I found myself turning it on during the drive. By the end of my week, I had listened through entirely. This proved to be an unexpected and delightful way to calm my mind before & after work. I will be listening often!

I love Lake Chelan in Washington state.

I can close my eyes and be transported to Lake Chelan where I camped many times as a child and into my teens.

Just Dreamy

Love his voice

Soothing Voice and Rustling Wind. Then SQUAWK!

Appreciate his soothing voice and the mesmerizing, rustling wind. Little bird sounds add some interest to pull you out of your daytime thoughts. More mesmerizing wind...

ah, relaxation at last... Then SQUAWK! a noisy bird wakes you up. This happens several times.

Please remove the birds closer to the microphone, Remove the occasional loud birds. The rest of the recording is great.
