Publisher's Summary

"Do you want some Goldfish crackers, Bliss?"

Those were the last words my brother said to me before he was shot execution style. A childhood code only he and I knew, and one that had a single, clear meaning behind it.

Run.

I'm not going anywhere. Not when his murderer is still out there.

To catch a killer, I put aside my life of money and luxury and take over the running of Psychos, a dive bar in the seedy underbelly of Saint View.

But Psychos delivers more than I ever could have bargained for and three men I never saw coming.

Nash, my brother's best friend. Older and more experienced, he still remembers me as the neglected child he once saved.

War, heir to a biker gang throne and searching for the man who left his mother in a coma. Bonded over a common goal, he introduces me to a world of after-hours clubs, danger, and violence.

And Vincent, the quiet new guy nobody seems to see except me. He's sweet and quirky, but there's a darkness in him just waiting to be unleashed.

With every lie we uncover, every secret we expose, the danger mounts.

Until there's only one thing we know for sure.

The killer is still out there.

And we're his next targets.

Start a War is an adult #whychoose romance, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This book contains romantic suspense/dark themes that may trigger some listeners. It is the first book in an ongoing trilogy.

I love the Saint view series.

I loved this book reading and listening I hope the others come here soon. I was unfortunately introduced to it with Saint view psychos so I'm reading it backwards but that doesn't make it any less amazing. i was sad when I learned the other two book weren't on here yet because getting to put a voice to bliss and the boys it the best thing ever.

Pure Bliss

Do you ever just find a book that checks all the boxes? It made me feel all the things, I was hooked right away! And the cliffhangers, my god!

I'm so happy I've found the world of Saint View to submerse myself in. I started with Psychos because those books were all over my TikTok, and now I can't wait to go back and read all the other interconnecting series'.

One thing I loved about Bliss, was that she was incredibly relatable. I just want to focus on her body image issues for a minute. As someone who's felt too big her whole life, I loved the way she was written. She wasn't whiny or annoying about her body as some 'plus size' characters tend to be in movies and books. She was very real about her feelings. She doesn't dwell constantly on her body, but you can tell that it's real for her. She would make throwaway comments in the same ways I would would friends. Even her inner monologue was just right. I don't know how else to explain it other than it felt like I was reading a real person who has actually had self-esteem issues, rather than a caricature of 'the fat girl that hates her body'.

I liked the way that the men don't make her feel about it either. Instead, they just try to constantly reassure her, whether that's through constantly telling her how beautiful she is, or cutting to their point of view so the readers can see how they feel, the author did an amazing job of making Bliss, and therefore making me, feel better about our bodies.

Let me back up for a second. I work in a factory and I get most of my 'reading' done at work via audiobooks. When I say, I've never felt so good about my body in my life, I'm not exaggerating. In the last couple of days, this series has completely changed the way I feel about my body. The day I started listening to these books, I'd forgotten to do laundry so I was wearing old clothes that were too tight and didn't fit well. I walked into work feeling very uncomfortable and about halfway through the day as Bliss's perspective started to shift, so did mine. I didn't care anymore about how tight and clingy my clothes were, I felt great, and I haven't stopped talking about the books since. I recommend it to all my friends that read, and even some that don't.

The characters are amazing, I loved the story and I feel so good about my body after reading these books. I don't know that I could have asked for anything more.

Gregory Salinas & Michelle Price did a great job with the audio!!
