A Warhammer 40,000 Audio

Follow in the footsteps of Hadeya Etsul as she is consolidated into a Cadian armoured regiment and put in command of a Leman Russ Demolisher, Steel Tread. Can she win the trust of her dysfunctional crew and pilot the tank to victory on a do-or-die campaign?

Listen to it because: against the backdrop of an increasingly desperate conflict, tanker Hadeya Etsul finds herself consolidated into a Cadian regiment and placed in command of the Leman Russ Demolisher Steel Tread, where she must try to rally a dysfunctional crew together in order to survive a death-or-glory offensive.

The story: on the war-torn world of Croatoas, the armies of the Astra Militarum do battle with the twisted servants of the Ruinous Powers. Against the backdrop of this increasingly desperate conflict, tanker Hadeya Etsul finds herself consolidated into a Cadian regiment and placed in command of the Leman Russ Demolisher Steel Tread. Haunted by nightmares, surrounded by a dysfunctional crew and striving to find her place amidst a proud and insular regiment with a culture so different from her own, Etsul must guide her crew to victory. But as her regiment rolls out beneath the poisonous light of the Great Rift to join a death-or-glory offensive, the crew of Steel Tread are about to face the fight of their lives. If they cannot learn to work as one, how can they hope to survive?

great look at modern IG

this does a really good job of showcasing how 42nd millennium Cadians deal with the loss of their world and how fresh inductions can make a name for themselves.

Missed opportunity.

The title excited me. The Story failed to live up to the hype.

Too much Drama that I can't relate to.
Cadians we're presented as Immature despite being one of the Most professional forces of the Imperium.
The Narration was okay. not Toby Longworth Quality but tolerable.

Should've been labelled as a 40k drama.

Can I get a refund for this?

Good progression of the Cadian mindset

This story follows the adventures of a multicultural yes wholy Cadian Tank crew. I enjoyed the diologue between the sarget and the CO of the tank, frankly the whole crew is good. noteworthy is hearing what a salty Cadian's perspective on affairs since the fall of the old homeworld. I feel this book both moves forward the lore a bit but also comments on overcoming real world bigotry as well, which is a funny thing coming from a dystopia future like 40k

decent !

entertaining audiobook, I definitely got into it
author did a good job showcasing interpersonal drama of soldiers, enjoyed seeing some gritty realisms of military life depicted in a relatable way. the narrators performance was strong, honestly. overall very decent. 3 stars for story is still "pretty good" overall somewhere between "pretty good" and "its great" id say.
