Zacary & Marigold
Claire Kingsley knows how to write a good suspenseful romance! I loved book one in this series and this one is just as amazing. Has a potential trigger of sex trafficking, so be aware. However, so many good moments and of course a HEA.
Marigold's best friends brother is Zachary. She has liked him from a far for all her life. However, he's not very nice to her and avoids her but deep down he's always loved her. Something no one talks about happened when she was in high school and ever since then he's kept his distance. However, when a potential life/death moment happens to him the first thing he can think of is... HE LOVES MARIGOLD!!! Zachary has the worst timing though, the man of her dreams walks into her hair salon and swipes her off her feet. He's over the top with gestures and Zachary doesn't like it! Zachary has a bad feeling about this new guy in town, he doesn't know what it is but something. However, no one believes him because they think he's just jealous.
This book gets your heart pumping with stress, excitement and swooning. I can't wait till the next one.
The narrators were fantastic - Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton and Desiree Ketchum all played their parts so well.
