Publisher's Summary

Ellie Pagan has a list of reasons to stay away from Ford Landry.

It's a mile long and was so much easier to stick to when he was a world away. Now that he's standing in front of her - body hard and chiseled from a stint in the military, suit cut to perfection, and a smirk she could never resist - remembering all the reasons why just got a whole lot harder.

Ford gets Ellie isn't his biggest fan. He just doesn't care.

Standing in front of him, giving him hell, she's even prettier than he remembered. All he can think about is how she felt in his arms, the taste of her kiss, the sound of her giggle in the middle of the night. He may not know how to win her back, but he does know this: he may have let her go once, but that's one mistake he won't make again.

Swear is a heartfelt and steamy standalone romance.

Finding Your Rainbow

I love the Landry family! Swear is such a sweet second chance love story! We've met Ford before in the previous books in this series of interconnected standalones, but we didn't know much about him and his past until now. Dubbed the most "logical" brother by his sisters, Ford is probably the most down to earth of the Landry siblings, enjoying the calm and simpler pleasures in life. I loved getting to know him and felt his love story was the most realistic of all his siblings so far.

Ford and Ellie's story was sweet and beautiful. Young love, especially first love, is intense and can be all consuming. Ellie learns this the hard way, when her fairy tale crumbles and she's left picking up the pieces of her heart. Admittedly, Ford did not handle the situation well, but is that really so surprising for an 18 year old? So much of life is about timing, and though sad, Ford was not capable of making those kinds of decisions at that point in his life. I appreciated that there is no unnecessary drama or other love interests for either of them. It's just two people who are trying to find their way back to love and each other.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross shine again with their superb narration! I have enjoyed this series so much thanks to their amazing performances! Wen especially is so very sexy as Ford (and all the Landry men!) and I could listen to his voice all day long! Fantastic audiobook!

I swear it's great

This was a great book/listen. I can't stop reading/listening to this series. Adriana Locke has done a wonderful job with this series and keeps you coming back for more. Ellie and Ford are meant to be together but can they work through there issues from their pasts. Will they be able to move on and forgive and live with each other's mistakes. There was some parts in this book that I was an emotional mess. Plus getting to see the whole Landry clan is always great. Cannot wait for Swink.
Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott have again kept you entertained and wanting more.

So Far, My Favorite, I Swear!!❤️

Landry series number 4, Swear, truly rates 5 Glorious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! I have to agree with all of the other reviewers who claimed this to be their favorite book in the series. Ford and Ellie are the best; along with the rest of the Landry clan, the plot develops well with just the right amount of angst to make it all believable.

So now onto book 5 so I can then read book 6, “Sweet”; we meet Nate in book 4 😉. (I’ve read that “Sweet” is also, well… sweet!!😊)

More great times with the Landry Family!

I love a second chance story. The moment Ellie came back into Ford’s life, he didn’t look back. His dedication and drive to prove he was in it was perfect. I loved the balance of resistance and giving in that Ellie had. This story was really good. Of course you got to experience so much of the whole Landry Family, which makes this series so so good. Another great story in this series.

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott were both fantastic. They are so perfect for this series, and the duet narration is so fun.

Yes

What can I say ...I want to be in this family. What a wonderful story. The Landry's are such a wonderful, warm and loving family. This book is the best yet....Ford and Ellie are terrific together. I would be remiss if I didn't complement Wen and Kai on another outstanding narration. Ok on to the next book. Thanks to Adriana for another great story.

Loved It!

Love, Love, Love…Great story & performance but I don’t like that they left it unclear what the baby was going to be a girl or boy…In a perfect world it would be twins one of each!😍

Ford and Ellie

Grab the tissues, and a fire Hydrant. Ford and Ellie have a history that ended up shattering her heart and as most men do stupid shit or think they they know best, he has paid the price for his decisions, but he never stopped loving her. She's back doing great opening her little shop and closer to her Dad. Until he walks back into her life and now he's on a mission to get her back and not let go. She suffers another loss that wrecks her heart and I sobbed because I've lost several family members to the same disease, but through their words she finds her rainbow. If you think Barrett and Allies grape sexcapades was hot you will love Ford and his candy fetish enter the need of the fire Hydrant. Kai and Wen have been fantastic during this whole series.

I Usually Like Second Chance Romances

Ellie seemed so mad at Ford but she gave in so easily. Portraits her as weak. Ford believes that he needs to earn her trust, but he dismisses her feelings. He’s arrogant and entitled that Ellie belongs to him. Hard for me to like either of them.

blah

I very much enjoyed the first 3 books in the Lander series so I was hoping this would be the same. Nope. several of these characters just acted like jerks. spoilers! His family lying to him to get him to run into her - not cool. her dad totally disconnecting from life - not cool. the little spoiled brat tantrum she had when his brother was considering running for office - way, way not cool. there are more but that's enough. wish I would have passed on this one.
