Part one of two

British ad exec Dylan Locke isn't looking for love. He isn't looking for fate. He's definitely not looking for Audrey Lind. She's pretty, far too young, and overly romantic - in short, exhausting.

But when the girl, young enough to be his daughter, literally lands in his lap and asks for his expertise, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't interested. In her body, in her innocence, in her philosophy.

In the kind of kismet that starts with kisses.

But Audrey isn't looking for love either - she's looking for lessons, and she's certain Dylan knows everything she needs to learn.

If he agrees to play the teacher can he keep his heart?

Of course he can.

Then again, he might be lying.

The entire audiobook of Sweet Liar is also included in the audiobook of the conclusion of this series, Sweet Fate.

this one sounds like a chipmunk on helium. jeez, I had to slow down the speech speed just to lower the annoyance level and try to finish this book

Not bad, but not my thing.

I love Shane’s narrations, so it’s a given I’ll take a listen to whatever he does. Carly isn’t bad, but I found some of my issues with this novella was that her voice felt too young for her character to Shane’s feeling too old for his age. It almost felt like an older teen with a 50ish man instead of a young woman with a 40ish one. It’s a significant difference for me.

Soooo hot!!!

This story is soooo hot! I love Audiobooks and in this one the British accent the actor who plays Dylan has, was panty-melting! I always enjoy Laurelin Paige’s books, that’s why I chose this one. Now I’m off to the next one. The storyline is awesome!

Sweet

This story was getting good and then it just stopped. It feels more like a serial versus a novel.

Age ain’t nothing but a number

Who says a woman can’t date an older man? I think that Shane’s voice just set you on fire Brit lord have mercy. I love this book and hope that it continues into the next one...onto my next book. Laurelin you did your thing as usual...

Made me feel icky!

Not a fan of older man and much younger woman stories, but can usually get past that if the story is good. But I couldn't get past the NUMEROUS references in the first chapter about how much younger she was. I mean . . . constant reminder of how young and "innocent" she was. So much so that I started to think "Pedophile"? ICK! Not what I want to think about when I am listening to a romance novel. Love Shane East, but even his sexy voice couldn't get me past the ick factor. Maybe other people won't have such a problem but for me it was a no go.

Audrey and Dylan - prequel

Age-gap novella. American, ingenue college student and English advertising executive.

Shane East is the quintessential Brit, who dirty talks like a natural. 🔥
Carly Robins' voice is better suited for rom-coms. 🤷‍♀️

I'll read rather than listen to the next installment.
