Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

What a disappointment
I’ve tried to listen to the first few chapters and can’t figure out what the point is. It’s not a compelling ‘story’ to say the least - it’s implausible, badly written and the characters are not interesting. And I’m not learning anything - I was hoping for a motivational / inspirational sort of book. It actually sounds like a parody of that kind of book at first.

Way short of Expectations
I've read every single book by Robin and loved it all. The 5AM club falls flat, filled with cliches and at times it sounds like a book of quotes. The story used is boring and the 5AM ritual is a fraction of the entire book and so much unnecessary advice and self-help nonsense. I've never provided a bad review but this had to be one. Wish I could return my audible and also the book.

An absolute waste of time!!
I’m a veteran of many many business and leadership books and this is by far the worst one I’ve ever encountered.
1. The audio performance is quite literally annoying. Just give the sample a listen and you will hear what I mean.
2. The entire book can be summed up in a couple of sentences and reading the entire book fails to add much of anything substantive to it. I’ll save you the bother of reading the book. Get up early, spend time working on your health, mental, spiritual, and emotional self before you let the day run away on you. Do some thing to move your life and business forward in the direction you want the to go. Consistent, daily small efforts will yield big rewards over time.
3. Lastly this is some of the poorest quality writing I’ve never encountered. Overly simplistic, repetitive, pedantic, and punctilious.
I suffered through the whole book, shocked at it’s lack or original ideas. Like a train wreck I simply could not look away. I kept waiting for the big reveal; only to get to the end and simply wish I had not wasted my time. Perhaps this review will help you avoid wasting your time like I did with mine.

Super disappointed
Solid principles buried under contrived and cringe-worthy storytelling. What had the great bones to a worthy self-betterment book is completely obscured by trite characters and self-important prose that seem to be more written to make the author feel like a wannabe Hemingway than a self improvement guru. If he would have written this in his own voice I would have really liked it. As it is written, I struggled through 4 chapters with the hope that the gag inducing cliche characters were just a hook to give way to first person prose but I was very disappointed. Save your money and time and skip this one.

I have saw an interview for Robin Sharma about the book in YouTube, After I finished watching I started reading the book immediately and finished it in a week.
a life changing book even I am struggling to wake up at 5 AM, the tips that Robin gives you is unbelievable
I have order the hard cover book and it is supposed to arrive in just a few more days, and then I'll read it again

Highly Recommended
Such a great story and information. Feeling empowered to focus on self-mastery. Truly feel if I focus on myself, I’ll be able to achieve anything. Highly recommend this book for anyone who’s looking for a way to improve their life regardless of where they are right now.

this book will change your life!
Fantastic book from Robin Sharma
Profound messages and practices that are well woven into a ‘gentle’ story. I liked it a lot
And will apply the 5ac!

NUL
Aucun fond. Basé sur des fictions. Tiré en longueur. Perte de temps... ... ... d'autres livres sur le même sujet sont bien mieux traités.

Boring story with delayed added value
Boring story with copy and paste of famous quotes. Only the last 2 hours give added value.
I wish i have read a summary of the book instead.
The voice is way too solemn for the story.
But the method must be good.

great book
I loved the book. I read it and listened to it.
I am particularly disappointed by the narrator making the female character seem really dumb and naive in the way she is talking, while being described differently in the book. I don't want to spoil so that s it.
the rest is perfection!

A MUST HAVE AND ONE OF MY FAVORITE LAST BOOK!
Read it anytime you need, share it as much as possible, a precious book to ignite a new start! A good story easy to listen to thanks to Adam Verner for people with average English skills like me. Great value right here! Thank you for that inspiring piece of work Mr Sharma!!! You make my day!!!
