I get it you are confident, well according to you

So boring to listen too, not a good narrator.
Takes forever to get to the point, that's why this 2 hour book is 13 hours.
Nothing new in this book, he just made a book out things you already know.
Talks about himself way too much.

Worth the Listen

Such a solid audiobook. I’ve tried a lot of self-help books related to this topic and this one by far takes the cake. He’s educated, real, insightful, clear and concise with his strategies to help you become the best version of yourself and more confident. I honestly learned so much about myself and the social work listening to this. I’ll definitely be looking into his other books!

What a read...(what a listen.)

Great book for confidence!

I've yet to really dive into my audio book listening and decided to start the year off with one of these "self help" books. I looked for one in an area I was lacking... confidence. And I wasn't ready for how great this book is.

Easy to listen to, easy practices... well... it turns the difficult into easy... listen to this audiobook and you will understand.

Also loved how Dr Aziz himself narrates the book. Its charming and funny at points and heartfelt and meaningful at others.

Read this if you want to build your own confidence in a healthy and effective way.

You really have to trust the process and give it a chance

At first, I wasn’t too into it— but as it went on all my doubts and the thoughts in my head, even the ones I had about this book, were all answered. It felt like a 1:1 experience, but you have to do the work he sets out. I tried fighting against that, but I realize the purpose of why the lists were important later.

a must-read for anyone who suffers from social anx

It enlightened me about social anxiety. The author knows first hand about this disorder and became a doctor who specializes in the field. A great book.

THE. BEST. BOOK. ON. SELF. CONFIDENCE. EVER.

I am about 3/4 through this book and I am completely and utterly blown away by how insightful this author is. I have read many books books on this topic, but they were either horribly written, boring, lacked action steps, irrelevant to me, or were filled with filler. In contrast, this book is a big, thick, lean, juicy rib roast of amazing, extremely actionable content. Most importantly, the author gets it because he once suffered from very low self confidence and has since slain the Dragon. Okay. there is one thing I don't like... I feel an urge stop the audio every 5 minutes to not down notes. Therefore, I bought the paperback so I can write it. Do yourself a huge favor and buy this book for yourself or for someone who you feel suffers from low confidence or low self-esteem.

Mostly regurgitation

Not bad, but mostly just the same generic info as a lot of other “coaches”. The main advice given throughout is “You fear X? Then you just need to do X.” Not overwhelmingly bright. It claimed to give specific strategies/tactics, but he keeps repeating the same advice, just in a different context.

Ehh.. not for me

So far this book has been written for people who are passive not assertive or perhaps in my case sometimes aggressive. Every chapter falls back on you being awesome and that you should have the courage and self esteem to have confidence. To me that is not confidence. I wanted a book on standing tall, wait to speak last, don’t apologize etc. to help improve my anxiety I feel after decision making and skills in sales and customer service. Not for me, if you have very low self esteem, maybe but so far I don’t know anyone this will be useful for personally.

Full of realistic and effective advice.

This book exceeded my expectations, Dr. Aziz explains things in a clear and simple way that is easy to understand and makes sense. In the end your actions are what will lead to change, but with his advice and encouragement you can find the strength to do it. I highly recommend!

Too vulgar for my taste

He warns readers about his use of profanity, but I did not expect that it would increase after each page. It was not funny, unnecessary and distracting. I did not finish listening to it.

Finally! This book really is life changing!

I've read a lot of books about motivation, self development and trying to 'fix' whatever isn't working in your life. Most of them spend 90% trying to help you figure out why you might have whatever issues you have, and 10% giving any actionable solution. This book is 100% about giving you real, usable tools to make the changes in your life. This book actually got me off my @$$ and into real action. I feel better than I have in years and am so thankful to Dr. Aziz. This isn't a quick fix that will fizzle out once the novelty wears off either......it creates real, lasting change. I hope that anyone struggling with anything in their life will read/listen to this book. It's my new 'users manual' for my life!

And on a side note, Dr. Aziz is very pleasant to listen to....he reads this book like a friend just having a conversation with you.

Okay book except for the foul language.

This book provides some good information but the use of foul language is completely unnecessary. You would think the author could have made a better use of the English language as his choice of words shows complete ignorance. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
