Publisher's Summary
From Brad Thor, the number-one New York Times best-selling author of Code of Conduct, comes a lightning-paced short story, pitting Scot Harvath against a threat unlike any he's faced before....
A deadly betrayal is at the center of The Athens Solution. When a game-changing weapon falls into the wrong hands, the US ambassador to Greece must risk everything to recover it, even if it means participating in a ruse that costs his life. With the ambassador dead and the device still at large, covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath rushes to eliminate a terror cell about to sell the dangerous technology to Iran. As the sun sets on the Aegean Sea, Harvath must go head to head with a traitorous adversary in a confrontation that puts the fate of America and her allies at risk.
Originally published in the short story anthology Thriller, The Athens Solution has been revised and includes a brand-new bonus afterword. This riveting addition to the Scot Harvath thrillers delivers all the pulse-pounding action and high stakes fans have come to know and love from Brad Thor. Without a doubt, The Athens Solution will leave fans hungry for more!

Brad Thor should stick to writing novels...
...rather than short stories. This (very) short story is written by one of my favorite authors. The audiobook is 63 minutes and it includes the short story, some discussion by the author, and a chapter from one of his novels. The actual short story is very short indeed.
This audiobook is disappointing coming from an author as talented as Brad Thor.

Disappointing for Brad Thor
I understand that some writers enjoy writing short stories, but I must say, it feels like it’s all about the money, not the passion of writing. To charge $1.98 for less than 1/2 hour, it’s all about the money. The description says 1 hour 3 minutes , but it’s actually less than 30 minutes of the book and the rest is Brad Thor talking about his love of short stories (Right) and the a preview of a previous book I’ve already read. I refuse to order anymore short stories. Very disappointed!

Another trap book
So tired of audible and authors taking a full credit for a 30 minute book with ZERO warning. What a joke.

Don't buy.
Love the the author and the books but this is the second time I got tricked to paying for a 1 chapter book. This is taking advantage of faithful followers and is just plain dirty.

Excellent story against all odds.
He completed his mission and would do it again for the right people, even if it meant his personal life was going to be put on hold again.
Athens mission was the first of many!
Excellent story very well written! Highly recommend!

Not a Short Story - A teaser
This isn’t a story. There is no conclusion. It reads as the introductory chapter of some future novel. Save your money and buy and full Scot Harvath novel.

Not a novel
Don’t waste your money. I used a credit thinking this was a book in the Harvath series and it lasted less than an hour.
