Publisher's Summary

Khai Diep has no feelings. Well, he feels irritation when people move his things or contentment when ledgers balance down to the penny‚ but not important emotions, like love. His family knows better - that his autism means he just processes emotions differently. When he steadfastly avoids relationships, his mother takes matters into her own hands and returns to Vietnam to find him the perfect bride.

As a mixed-race girl living in the slums of Ho Chi Minh City, Esme Tran has always felt out of place. When the opportunity arises to come to America and meet a potential husband, she can't turn it down. Seducing Khai, however, doesn't go as planned. She's hopelessly smitten with a man who's convinced he can never return her affection.

Another fantastic book!!!

Helen Hoang has a way of making you connect with these characters and being so sucked in that you feel every emotion with them along the way!! I loved how this book had characters from The Kiss Quotient. The narrator was new to me, I thought she was so good and very believable. I totally recommend this book. ❤️

Wonderful book!!!

I don’t think I can recommend this book enough and the author. It was a wonderful book with just more than romance. The narrator was amazing!!! Highly recommend if you love a good romance book. Almost finished it in one sitting.

Cute

It was a very cute romantic story. A little far fetched sometimes, but never the less very entertaining. Not as good as the kiss quotient. The narrator is amazing, I heard other books by her and she truly brings the characters to life, she is amazing at changing her voice!

cute story

this was such a cute story! there were a few slow moments but overall a great read. i struggled a bit with the breathiness of the narrator in the beginning but that got better as the story went on.

Great 2nd book

This was a good follow up to book one. While I didn't love Khai's story as much as Michael's (since it felt mostly the same), it was still a great story.

The narration was good and kept me wanting to listen

5 stars

Helen Hoang will always be an automatic purchase for me after this book. I loved her first book The Kiss Quotant but I am going to say this book, The Bride Test, may be better.
Emily Woo Zeller did an awesome job narrating, I will be checking out her backlist.
Definitely worth a credit!

Book heaven

I loved Kiss Quotient and there was a shadow of doubt in me that this book will not be as good. But it was lovely. Fighting for love, fighting with insecurities and demons. But still polite and kind to others. Importance of the family despite how annoying our family members may be. Bravo. Another great book!

NOT The Kiss Quotient, but still pretty good.

I loved the kiss quotient. This is not that or as good. BUT it is still a decent read. I really like Helen Hoang's writing style and I will definitely be reading whatever she comes out with next.

really enjoyed it

This was a super cute and sweet read. even though sometimes I didnt understand the chracters reactions or not being more understanding when it came to one of the characters, I still enjoyed the story. I also didnt like that the main character kept the huge secret that she kept while trying to get kai to fall in love with her and marry her. I really liked the ASD representation and it really helps you see the struggles someone like kai goes through daily especially when it comes go building close relationships. Over all I enjoyed this book. There were heartbreaking moments but also heartwarming moments. The story held my interest the whole time and I found it to be unique.

it was a fun

I enjoyed it. I thought the characters were really interesting. I would have preferred more character development in situations over lussac's
