About this listen
A galvanizing playbook for success from Steven Bartlett, one of the world’s most exciting entrepreneurs and the host of the No. 1 podcast The Diary of a CEO
"This is a must-read for anyone dreaming of doing something audacious." Jay Shetty
"Valuable lessons about the importance of following a different and unconventional path to power.” Robert Greene
At the very heart of all the success and failure I've been exposed to - both my own entrepreneurial journey and through the thousands of interviews I’ve conducted on my chart-topping podcast - are a set of principles that ensure excellence.
These fundamental laws underpinned my meteoric rise, and they will fuel yours too, whether you want to build something great or become someone great. The laws are rooted in psychology and behavioral science, in my own experiences, and those of the world's most successful entrepreneurs, entertainers, artists, writers, and athletes, who I’ve interviewed on my podcast.
These laws will stand the test of time and will help anyone master their life and unleash their potential, no matter the field.
They are the secret sauce to success.
What the critics say
"Weaving the latest research, his own experiences, and captivating stories, Steven guides readers to redefine success and achieve their potential. This is a must-read for anyone dreaming of doing something audacious." -Jay Shetty, New York Times bestselling author & award winning host of On Purpose
"There is a new breed of CEO taking over the business world. The blustery, chest beating CEOs who act like they make no mistakes are being replaced by CEOs who talk about their feelings, lead with curiosity and are willing to work on themselves...and Steven Bartlett is leading the revolution! The Diary Of A CEO is an essential companion for any leader who wants to take themselves on and lead us into the next generation." -Simon Sinek, Optimist and New York Times bestselling author of Start with Why and The Infinite Game
"I’ve watched Steven Bartlett’s journey from the start, always knowing he had that raw, fiery spark. Seeing him harness it, seeing him succeed, damn, it fills me with pure, undiluted pride. I’m on the sidelines, cheering him on, because this guy embodies the entrepreneur’s spirit." -Gary Vaynerchuck, author of Twelve and a Half

A Personal Thank You
I've discovered Steven B. through his youtube channel and I've been a follower of his ever since. His interviews with interesting people who lead different walks of life has broaden my horizons, changed my perspectives, and gave me valuable knowledge.
As a young man in his 20's, I find this book to be great guide not only for success but also personal growth. This book is most valuable to a young audience because they are the most impressionable and are the most qualified to listen to Steven B's wisdom.
Steven's delivery and story-telling feels personal as if he is exclusively talking to the listener or reader. I am definitely going to apply all the things I've learned and continue my journey to search for my life-long happiness.
Thank you Steven.

Brilliant. Insightful. Best purchase of the decade.
Full of insights. Best Business and life book of the decade! Also: In the spirit of sweating the small stuff, I want to share one minor error so you can fix- it says “I was 18 years old in 2013” at the beginning of law 25- I think the math may be a little off! I only noticed because I am a pod listener who noted Steven was saying he was 30 a couple years before I did very recently! Thank you so much making this incredible book. Brilliant.
