In Pete's Bar in the Bowery in New York, Pete tells some newspaper friends the story of Morgan the Fearless, a notorious desperado in the West. After terrorizing the Bridgewater region, the mayor hires Buck Christie to confront and defeat Morgan. Christie makes sure his challenge is heard.
