Publisher's Summary

One trouble-making dog brings together two perfect strangers in this USA Today best-selling romantic comedy full of "fierce humor and fiercer heart." (Casey McQuiston, NYT best-selling author of Red, White & Royal Blue)

Two years after losing her fiancé, Sloan Monroe still can't seem to get her life back on track. But one trouble-making pup with a "take me home" look in his eyes is about to change everything. With her new pet by her side, Sloan finally starts to feel more like herself. Then, after weeks of unanswered texts, Tucker's owner reaches out. He's a musician on tour in Australia. And bottom line: He wants Tucker back.

Well, Sloan's not about to give up her dog without a fight. But what if this Jason guy really loves Tucker? As their flirty texts turn into long calls, Sloan can't deny a connection. Jason is hot and nice and funny. There's no telling what could happen when they meet in person. The question is: With his music career on the rise, how long will Jason really stick around? And is it possible for Sloan to survive another heartbreak?

Excellent book!!!

I loved this book. I know it’s a sequel but it can be read as a standalone book as well. Great characters and great plot. The performance was perfect. Everything you would want in a book and nothing to dislike about. I have read all of this authors book and they are all excellent.

A Wonderful Emotional Journey

Abby Jimenez has done it again with another captivating story! The Happy Ever After Playlist is a highly relatable emotional journey. Abby connects you to the characters and their lives in such a way that they feel as real as your own life and friends. I was laughing, smiling and crying along with every new chapter. I look forward with excitement to reading and sharing all of Abby's future works. The performance was also very well done. Erin & Zachary have enjoyable voices. Having both perspectives read separately added to the overall believability of the story. A truly wonderful and immersive experience!

A beautiful book

This was a wonderful book. This book created tears left and right. Happy tears, sad tears and angry tears.😢😥 Make sure you have tissues when you listen to this. Two thumbs up Abby.👍👍 The narration was perfect. These two are my absolute favorite narrators, together and on their own. This story may not have be a true story but the grief that is caused by losses is true. I can relate with this and all I can say is if you are grieving seeking help is the bravest and strongest thing you could do for yourself. Do it for yourself. Best to you all.

Great summer read!

Dogs, music, and romance all in one novel? yes please! This novel was well written, relatable, hilarious, and takes you on a rollercoaster ride with your emotions. Written and narrated from both characters perspective, I liked the flow and insight into the characters. Make sure to check out the Spotify playlist to go along with each chapter, listen to the song before you continue to the chapter. AMAZING playlist.

one of the best romances out there

very interesting story, full of character growth, cheesy and a bit predictable at times, which is why it only gets 4⭐ overall

Surprised me

Don't know where this was recommended to me, but I am very glad I bought it. There is sadness, and sweetness - sometimes so much that your teeth hurt. But in the end, I felt it was all worth it. If you are saying the plot isn't new, or the ending was cliche, get over yourself. It has HEA and in this world we are living in THAT is as necessary as the air we breathe. Stick around to the author's comments at the end.

Another damsel in distress ( spoilers)

My expectations were really high for this book since it got ALL 5 star ratings. The first half of the book was really funny and cute and quite satisfying. But honestly as it progressed it just made me more and more pissed off. I cannot believe that STILL, in the 21st century, women need to read such deceptive fairytales about prince charming who rescues the damsel in distress! Haven’t we moved on at all from Cinderella and the sorries alike? Stories like these give women unrealistic expectations of the world and especially relationships. Of course he was super rich whisking her away and flying her across the world. Of course he was a celebrity. Of course he was unrealistically devoted and obsessed with her and so understanding and washing her hair while she was super wasted. Please...God forbid that he was just a regular guy, with a regular income. Or that she was more successful than him! What is wrong with any of that??

Truly a feel good story

This book made me walk around with a big stupid grin on my face while I listened with my earbuds in. Funny. Sweet. Sexy. And heart felt. I will probably listen to it a second time and listen to the songs at the head of each chapter before I read the chapter. But I was too impatient to get on with the story to do it the first time. I really hope someone has a Spotify playlist of theses songs Really loved the readers too.

Loved it!!

Do I have this book in three different formats? Yesss, I do. I preordered a signed paperback but started reading the ebook then moved to audio. I had some painting to do and didn't want to stop reading. It's narrated by Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon, which are both favorites of mine. Abby made her mark on the book world last year with The Friend Zone. The Happy Ever After Playlist just ensured that she's not going anywhere. She writes with a realness like she's just a girlfriend telling you a story over lunch. I knew I'd love Sloans story. I wanted her to get her HEA so freaking bad. Jason was everything she needed and more. As you can tell from above, I couldn't put it down. I'm a greedy girl that can't wait to find out what she's writing for us next.

AMAZING MUST READ/LISTEN

Umm, I found a new author I love. Loved the story, and that fact that though loss is horrific life keeps throwing curveballs and happiness is always within your reach.

Wow! Amazing!

Here I thought Happily Ever After couldn’t amount to what Friend Zone was! So, so, so wrong. So beautiful, poignant, all the feels. You did amazing work with it. Please don’t stop writing Abby.

Cute Romance

What a sweet story of how a new romance can put a bounce in your step! Along with some ups and downs and twists and turns of course, Jiminez delivers. Loved the format of alternating her voice then his voice along with the song references. The story is well thought our and relevant. Characters are well described and with background development which makes them all endearing. The performances are also most enjoyable. I read nearly all non-fiction so this was a deep departure but a welcomed, enjoyable romp.

Sloan story!!

AUDIO 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 BOOK 🌟🌟🌟🌟 First of all the audio was amazing just like friend zone. I have read so many mixed reviews on this book people saying that Sloan is now like Kirsten and not what they expected. I don’t agree with this, first of all Kristen would have jumped straight in and I think she have recovered quicker than Sloan based on personalities. I think that Sloan is different from first book but what do people expect she lost the guy who she thought was going to be her life, of course your going to change. I loved Jason from the beginning he was sweet and understanding and I think exactly what she needed. The way Tucker the dog came into her life I think helped her and I thought it was so funny. The second half of the book was harder to listen to only cause that where a lot more issues started for them and thought a lot was hit at them but a book need drama and this book give it.
