Publisher's Summary

Please Note: The audio has been updated for better sound quality.

This audiobook was created based on Clayton Christensen's landmark book The Innovator's Dilemma. This was Mr. Christensen's synopsis of his book for the Harvard Business Review. The audio tracks listed here cover the key elements of Mr. Christensen's book. This audiobook emphasizes the Idea in Brief "Does my organization have the right resources, processes, values, and team to innovate?" Then it covers the right structure for your specific type of innovation. He identifies where capabilities reside, in resources, processes, and values. He then addresses the migration of capabilities, illustrates it with the example of Digital Equipment (DEC), defines sustaining versus disruptive innovation, how to create capabilities to cope with change - internally, in a spinout, or an acquisition - and how to fit the tool to the task.

Not the book!

This is a 13 page article from HBR March-April 2000, not the famous book.

The title is misleading and should be corrected.

The narration is not good.

This is a summary of The Innovators Dilemma

This audiobook is a summary of The Innovators Dilemma and definitely not a replacement for the full book.

The audio quality of this audio book is terrible. There is a constant static noise in the background which does distract you from content.

oh man

Get this guy a glass of water, I don't think he was a good choice of narrator.

This is just a summary of the book of 13 pages

Do not worth buying, as it is only a summary of 13 pages of the book.

Sound and contain

The sound is not great. The contain is very repetitive, it could have been a simple blog post on the topic.

Article not a book

This is an article and not a book. That was not clear until purchased.
The content is useful.
The narrator is awful.
I would not recommend based on the narrator.

Ideas on pushing organizations through changing environments

A great case for the value of process and culture for driving different types of successful organizations. One set of values and processes will not work for all scenarios.

Great book but the story telling is not the best.

I havwe no problem with the contents. although a bit boring, it's still informational but the speaker makes awkward pauses and his voice just trails off sometimes that I wonder if I'm listening to a lullaby. it sounds so unenthusiastic and monotone with coughs and sudden pauses that I didn't even get what he's talking about. I don't expect much on a business book since it's sometimes a dry read but I do expect the voice to encourage me to listen to it.
