Another great book in this amazing series.
C.J. Archer spins another great tale filled with magic, intrigue and romance. The characters jump off the page and instantly engage you in their story. They are quirky, unique, with dynamic personalities complete with strengths and foibles. The narrative brings to life the era the story takes place in while providing insight into the thoughts, motivations and actions of the main character. The mystery is full of danger, suspense and emotional drama as the concept of what is best for the magician’s of the world in general is explored. Throughout the well written, fast paced and smooth flowing storyline, the characters continue to develop and adjust to ever changing circumstances. If you are looking for a fun adventure with surprises and romance, all wrapped up in magic, you should enjoy this book.
