A clever, well-written Sherlock & Watson story worthy to bear the aforementioned names. The narrative performance of Edward Petherbridge had me hooked from the start.

I love the original Sherlock Holmes adventures by Sir Conan Doyle and was pleasantly surprised by this book; the tone and feel of the book is reminiscent of the original stories and the addition of Lucy, which could have been jarring or badly done, actually works very well.

I highly recommend to anyone who's a fan of our great detective, anyone who loves "old school" detective stories and anyone looking for a well written strong female character!
