Can't say no to fattening foods, carbs, or alcohol? You may be one of the millions of people who are sugar sensitive. Many people who suffer from sugar sensitivity don't even know it - and they continue to consume large quantities of sweets, breads, pasta, or alcohol. These foods can trigger exhaustion or low self-esteem, yet their biochemical impact makes those who are sugar sensitive crave them even more. Dr. Kathleen DesMaisons came up with the solution and published it in her revolutionary book, Potatoes Not Prozac.

Publisher's Summary
“Marissa Stapley’s writing is a gift.” (Pam Jenoff, New York Times best-selling author of The Orphan’s Tale)
The Harmony Resort promises hope for struggling marriages. Run by celebrity power couple Drs. Miles and Grace Markell, the "last resort" offers a chance for partners to repair their relationships in a luxurious setting on the gorgeous Mayan Riviera.
Johanna and Ben have a marriage that looks perfect on the surface, but in reality, they don’t know each other at all. Shell and Colin fight constantly: after all, Colin is a workaholic, and Shell always comes second to his job as an executive at a powerful mining company. But what has really torn them apart is too devastating to talk about. When both couples begin Harmony's intensive therapy program, it becomes clear that Harmony is not all it seems - and neither are Miles and Grace themselves. What are they hiding, and what price will these couples pay for finding out?
As a deadly tropical storm descends on the coast, trapping the hosts and the guests on the resort, secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested and not one single person - or their marriage - will remain unchanged by what follows.
Marissa Stapley is a journalist and the author of the acclaimed novel Things to Do When It's Raining. She writes pause-resisting, deeply emotional fiction about families, friends, and women's lives. Visit her at marissastapley.com or follow her on Twitter, @marissastapley.

Drivel
This was a very poor choice for editors pic.
I just can't imagine why anyone would recommend this awful book, or take any interest in these stupid, ridiculous people.
If I hadn't been convalescing and in a weakened state I would have stopped listening sooner. As it was I quit with an hour left to go. I just didn't care about the story or anyone in it at all.
Performance was so so.

First time I have given up on an Audible book
This was not for me. It's all about the story. I found the characters uninteresting and unengaging. The plot was likewise uninspiring. The locale had obviously not been researched by the author (for instance, there are no mountains anywhere near the Riviera Maya. And with six hours left, I have decided I can more enjoyably spend those hours elsewhere. Sorry!
