“Thrilling.... a must-read!” (Mary Kubica)

“Masterful.” (Wendy Walker)

“I couldn’t put it down.” (Joseph Finder)

In a world of wealth and privilege, a killer is hiding....

The internationally best-selling author of The Last Mrs. Parrish follows that success with an addictive novel filled with shocking twists about the aftermath of a brutal high-society murder.

Dr. Kate English has it all. Not only is she the heiress to a large fortune; she has a gorgeous husband and daughter, a high-flying career, and a beautiful home anyone would envy.

But all that changes the night Kate’s mother, Lily, is found dead, brutally murdered in her own home. Heartbroken and distraught, Kate reaches out to her estranged best friend, Blaire Barrington, who rushes to her side for the funeral, where the years of distance between them are forgotten in a moment.

That evening, Kate’s grief turns to horror when she receives an anonymous text: You think you’re sad now, just wait. By the time I’m finished with you, you’ll wish you had been buried today. More than ever, Kate needs her old friend’s help.

Once Blaire decides to take the investigation into her own hands, it becomes clear that all is not as it seems in Baltimore high society. As infidelity, lies, and betrayals come to light and tensions rise to a boiling point, she begins to alienate Kate’s friends and relatives with her relentless, accusatory questions, as she tries to find Lily’s killer. The murderer could be anyone - friend, neighbor, loved one. But whoever it is, it’s clear Kate is next on their list....

In The Last Time I Saw You, Liv Constantine takes the lightning pace of The Last Mrs. Parrish and raises the stakes, creating an exquisitely tension-filled and absorbing tale of psychological suspense in which innocent lives - and one woman’s sanity - hang in the balance.

Another great read by Liv Constantine!

I also read the last Mrs. Parrish and I really enjoyed this one as well! I couldn’t wait to hop in my car and continue listening to this. I would listen while doing chores and cooking as well. I hope to hear more by her.

Entertaining

This story kept me well entertained, definitely not as good as The Last Mrs Parrish (the authors other novel) but it still kept me guessing throughout the story. A good listen but listen to The Last Mrs Parrish first!

Oh dear

My first (and last!) book from these authors (two sisters writing together). i was really disappointed in this and really struggled to get through it. The story line was ridiculous, the characters stupid and annoying and although I usually enjoy listening to Julia Whelan, I found her narration to be under par as well. Save your credit and skip this one!

Really GOOD...

Admittedly NOT as good as Mrs. Parrish...because that is about the best book EVER...but this book does not disappoint. The characters are very real, very deep. It kept me guessing and I listened until it was over because I couldn't wait to find out what happens! I hope Liv Constantine keeps writing...I love her books!!

Disappointed!

I was so looking forward to this book after Mrs Parrish. However, the twists were boring and the characters seemed flat. The story was unbelievable. I don't consider every novel that has a murder in it a thriller. Maybe under another classification, expectations wouldn't have been so high but it must be hard to top a book like Parrish. I will look forward to the next one by this author either way.

Intriguing and suspenseful!

Wonderfully written tale of murder, love, mystery, and madness. Superb character development and multifaceted storyline. Julia Whelan never disappoints with her charismatic and warm narration. A great listen!

Reading the bad reviews... But it turned out to be quite good! I was captivated by the first chapter or two. Nice twists and kept me reading

The Last Time I Saw You

So many twists and turns! Just when you think you have it figured out another bomb is dropped. Well-developed characters ensure plot stays exciting and unpredictable. Well done Constantine sisters. Looking forward to number 3.

Good old fashioned soap opera

Soap opera type of story. Starts out good with a murder victim and no leads as to who is the killer and why. Relationships that overlap several decades. Uber wealthy people and doctors. Dead boyfriends, wicked teenagers who never seem to grow up. Julia Whelan is an awesome narrator. Her range of emotions per character is right on the money! Never over dramatic. Good stuff.

Mystery within a Mystery

This story had so many twists and turns and so many characters that it made it difficult to keep up. Many of the characters with their own past that made it difficult to guess who the true villain was. I usually can guess so I gave extra stars for that point alone. The narrator did a fantastic job portraying each character with feeling. Thank you.

I loved The Last Mrs Parrish

I have been waiting for this author to write another book and even though it wasn’t like her first book, I really enjoyed it. Lots of twists and turns and good characters. Worth the read
