About this listen

The indomitable sleuth Miss Marple is led to a small town with shameful secrets in Agatha Christie’s classic detective story, The Moving Finger.

Lymstock is a town with more than its share of scandalous secrets—a town where even a sudden outbreak of anonymous hate mail causes only a minor stir.

But all that changes when one of the recipients, Mrs. Symmington, commits suicide. Her final note says “I can’t go on,” but Miss Marple questions the coroner’s verdict of suicide. Soon nobody is sure of anyone—as secrets stop being shameful and start becoming deadly.

The narrator was exceptional. I completely enjoyed his narration because the accents & voices he gave to the characters totally brought them to life!
The story itself was excellent, Agatha Christie never disappoints!

wonderful narration and a very nice story. it's an interesting experience watching the show and then coming to read the books, to see the way things are changed! I love the hearty Miss Griffiths vs the diminutive TV version.

narrator is excellent and his characters are all believable.

Great listen. Love everything I’ve heard from Richard Grant. He’s a master as is Agatha Christie. Delightful escapism

Miss Marple shows up late in this one, but I love the character perspective and the villagers. An easy listen while grisly things happen. #Audible1
