This was really good and Amber was really diabolical! So entertaining through the whole thing but I'm happy Daphne got her revenge and put them both in their place and came back out on top!

Loved the first one and was open to giving this volume a chance.

Overall it felt like an imitation of the original. I am usually happy to just let go and enjoy the story, especially when the characters are so scheming. In this case I found myself rolling my eyes and getting annoyed with the plot and characters.

Resolutions were just to coincidental and perfect. Instead of twisting stories together it all felt forced and flat.
