Publisher's Summary

Hear singer, songwriter, and actor Nick Jonas lend his voice to the history of one of his favorite subjects: baseball.

This unique story is written specifically to help you drift off, with no clear beginning, middle, or end, so you don’t need to follow the details too closely. In it, you’ll hear Nick Jonas describe how Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams reached legendary status, and how they shaped the three components of a perfect swing.

What is the perfect swing? You might be asleep before you find out.

Didn't Put Me To Sleep, But Was A Great Listen

I unfortunately know what the perfect swing is now. The delivery and tone had me perfectly relaxed for the full duration, so while I didn't fall asleep, I did rest and learn more than I ever wanted to know about swinging a baseball bat.

A Visualization Delight

Truly enjoyable, incredibly descriptive and inspiring story.
Narrator could have taken slightly more time, however, nailed it with his grit and clear passion for the subject.
Relaxing bedtime story to listen to at first, and (for a non-super-sports-fan) by the end, had me standing in my bedroom at 2am, demonstrating the exact positioning and visualizing MY "perfect swing".
Wonderful little listen👌

Thankyou for this story. Mr. Jonas was superb. Talking about baseball...a dessert.
... listen to this story.my imagination was in 1941 watching Joe and Ted play and Jonas announcing the play by play.

Outstanding narration by Nick Jonas!

I have never cared about sports but no one can deny superhuman talent in any capacity! This story is interesting and Nick Jonas' perfect timber, pitch and velvety teddy bear tones skillfully narrating baseball stats will lull you to another dimension in your mind through space and time into this seemingly impossible lucid but sleeping state where you eventually realize you've somehow awoke feeling more rested than you think. Fantastic. Watch him play Nate Kulina on Tv show Kingdom. A natural talent.

Not a Baseball Fan!

But really enjoyed this. Found the stories of Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams to be interesting. Nick Jonas has a soothing voice which makes him easy to listen to as a narrator.

Recommend as a quick bite of something to listen to.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, but....

I love Nick Jonas voice! I could listen to him read or sing about any subject all day long. Very interesting story, nevertheless.

Chock-full-o-facts and better than melatonin!

These bedtime stories are kinda interesting. First, if you really listen to the words, they take synaptic leaps that are reminiscent of James Joyce. And, if you love the topic (which I do), then you try to listen tp the baseball facts, but also want to go to sleep. Then, you realize that it's the magic combination of an unorthodox storyline + an incredible voice performance by Nick Jonas, that creates a winning formula to put you to sleep. I felt rested when I woke up and am definitely going to try more of these.

Nick Jonas and his Amazing Voice

Wow... the soothing sound of his voice is something so incredible to fall asleep to. On top of that he’s talking about my favorite sport (baseball), my favorite team (Red Sox), and my birthday (2nd of July). Going to sleep doesn’t get much better than this.

Not even a Jonas Brothers fan but this... AMAZING!

Hi there, I couldn't name a Jonas Brothers song but this story is such a great nighttime drift off sort of thing and Nick Jonas does have an exceptional voice. I wish I could say I loved the whole thing but I fell asleep probably 4 minutes in, so tonight I will set my sleeptimer to 10 minutes. New bedtime ritual!

Short, but a great story

This story is a great look back towards America’s greatest baseball players Joe and Ted. I wish I was a young kid sneaking in to the baseball park to see Ted Willams play. Great swing advice.

Boring

The narrator is great but the story is long and boring. The only reason that would help me to fall asleep is because of boredom.
