Publisher's Summary

Most men today are sent off into society with a broken belief system, which they use to make choices that get them terrible results with life and women.

Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose.

This has led to an entire generation of men forming very unhealthy attachments to women that they, unfortunately, often make their sole focus of their lives.

The playbook to women and life has changed, but most men missed the memo.

Do you want to succeed and level up in every area of your life?

If so, then this book explains:

  • The importance of maximizing your looks, money, social status, and game.
  • Why it's essential to get genuine burning desire from a woman who wants to date you.
  • The top 20 red flags that you must vet women for a long term relationship.
  • How to become one of the top 20% of men that women swipe right for on online dating.
  • Why smart men avoid marriage. And much more.

This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

I’d rather have the ugly truth than a beautiful lie.

I bought the Kindle version, then I bought the audio version, now I’m buying them as gifts for my friends.

An eye opening and honest examination and deep dive into the dynamics between the sexes and the power struggles within. It is the stuff that they don’t teach you at school, ideas that radical feminists don’t want you to know, the concepts that PC culture is trying to suppress, the stuff most mothers couldn’t articulate and most father couldn’t verbalize. You’ve been living in a dream and sold a lie, it’s time to wake da F up and become the person you’re meant to be.

Just use common sense guys and not a book

Looks + Enough Money + Decent Personality = Success with women. It's that simple.

This book just rambles on about a bunch of nothing. Like listening to a politician's speech. I wish I could get my time back.

Very good book!

Never have I been advertised better to buy a motorcycle LOL. On another note I will never understand why people would rather fuck a doll than a living breathing human being.

What more can I say?

Great book thoroughly enjoyed the concepts discussed and great to have the author narrate the book himself. Apply to your own situation as needed.

A Helpful Book that Could Still Aim Higher

A very useful and educational book. I wish I'd had it in my 20s, it would have helped me a great deal. My critique however is that while it aims to help men pursue excellence, it falls short of inspiring the pursuit of a life of virtue. That is to say that while we can understand and navigate concepts like female hypergamy and swallow the "red pill", we can still seek to transcend modern narcissistic dating behaviors where both men and women use each other. Basically Mr. Cooper doesnt suggest you steer clear of short term flings, casual sex and the like - which seems to lack the wisdom that such practices can be a recipe for misery. Men should pursue a strong stature and mind whilst living lives where values like charity, loyalty, forgiveness, justice, and goodness are a prescident. Think of what a classic knight once stood for, a strong, brave and mighty man trained to fight to defend and execute goodness and justice. So while it's a great book, and will really help you if struggling with women, I hope the author(Rich Cooper) will develop his moral philosophy in a more sophisticated way.

What a crock of 'alpha' bullshit mentality.

Please refer to review title and find a better book to read. Dont waste your time, I can assume you no sane woman wants this 'alpha man' shit. You can literally hold your girlfriends purse for a moment without being a beta bitch.. 'sneering' and being a jerk isn't the answer fellas.

Great content, unprofessional recording

The material is solid, spot on and I agree with everything. I also purchased a Kindle version as well as the audiobook to support the author. Five stars for the content and I highly recommend it. My gripe is with the recording itself. Richard is a self proposed successful entrepreneur and yet he can’t get a professional recording done? The entire recording was done with a noise gate to compensate for an unprofessional recording space (probably in his bedroom) on either a DBX 286 or plug-ins and it is very annoying. This recording was done in an untreated room, in an unprofessional environment. When he talks you can hear the background noise, when he stops it’s dead silent. This contrast throughout the entire recording gets annoying quickly. It’s unnatural and not smooth. For a self proclaimed successful person I would expect him to do much better. Either hire a professional narrator, get some acoustic treatment done in your recording space, or spend some money and rent a proper recording studio. I could understand if this was a 15 or 20 minute podcast but this is your book, people spend money on this product. Polish it! They deserve better. You have the means, this book has great ratings and you have a good following. The readers deserve it. It just lacks of integrity. Not ideal. With that said, I still recommend the book. As mentioned, it has great information which every man should be aware about and I hope the author eventually puts out more content but please don’t skimp out in your product next time. Spend the money and get a professional recording done.

Mediocre at best..

I was disappointed. The Unplugged Alpha is a regurgitation of excerpts from Rich Coopers (entrepreneurs in cars) YouTube channel with very little in terms of new actionable material. I lost count of how many times I heard the Amazonian story.. Save your money as there’s more value in watching his free YouTube videos. Hopefully there’s more useful content is his paid community because this book ain’t it.

MANdatory MANual for men.

See what I did there?

I've already read it twice; but finally getting to hear Rich speak his own words is fantastic and it reminds me stay focused, maintain frame, and continuously internalize the education of these truths.

Thank you, Rich, for all you've done for me and men everywhere!

Constructive feedback : There's a bit of a reverb/echo. The 5 stars is absolutely for the content!

This is literally the only thing I could think of while listening to this book. The author is just some jaded woman hating Chad. I almost listened to a full hour and just had to stop.

Very little content, bland/negative content

I listened to this book on tape on 1.5x speed. You may need to as well, or you may fall asleep or your mind may wander. Author is somewhat negative against women, sounds like he has a chip on his shoulder, and his story confirms it. Doesn't seem he's that successful with women, because he doesn't give many examples of his successes, mostly his failures in business and in his marriages.

He offers some common sense tips on women, nothing profound or worth paying for this book.

He does reference some good books by Neil Strauss and Robert Greene.

Sad I paid for this book. Surprised it got such a high rating.

Perfect for introducing the red pill

I am on a road trip with a friend and decided to play this on the way. My friend was intrigued the whole time often saying "that's so true" and "dang this guy is fire". A great buy in my opinion.

Nothing Original

I found this book to be very similar to others of the style. A collection of messages striving to enlighten and inspire. Nothing I heard here have I not heard before from books like Dad's Starting Over and No More Mr. Nice Guy. So if want to hear more of the same go for it. Having already read the aforementioned books, this did nothing for me.

The concepts being very crassly stated and uneloquent isn't my style. The carrot on the stick remains sex, no matter what. "See reality and how people are, so you can get your crap together and then bang more women" is a central theme. Taking responsability for ones own life is crucial, but the incentive of a more wild sex life is lacking in the calling for a more devine purpose. Sex can hardly compensate for the tragedy of existance.

At times it was akin to listening to a frat boy attempting to present himself as an enlightened monk to the guiles of women and their collective inability to make conscious decisions. Simply put don't go here for an authentic unjaded look into humanity, relationships, or masculinity.

great listen

when I look at books like these I always think, "oh, here we go again with another guru that wants to show me how to get laid", but this isn't really the case here. This book instead, provides a perspective that rationalizes certain dating behaviors within modern westernized societies and encourages the reader to think realistically on their approach to the landscape of these societies. The book encourages self growth and development and provides an inspirational ideology to live by.

To every man out there

This book is a succinct guide on how to be, choose and act in order to get the most fun, enjoyment and peace of mind with women.

It’s about reality not fairy tales, and how men NEED to check themselves in a world where we have been led to believe that being more feminine and more understanding has led us astray in regards to male and female relationships dynamics.

Thank you very much Richard Cooper you have been a tremendous help in changing my humongous beta ways! Its about the fifth time I’m listening to it and I always enjoy it ! Peace
