Duet narration by John Lane and Angelina Rocca.

Faye is the last woman Dion Windsor wants to be near, let alone marry, yet there’s no escaping the alluring pianist he’s been engaged to since they were children.

For years, he made his unwillingness known, but his attempts to keep Faye at a distance fade to dust at the sight of her with another man—mere months before their wedding.

One look at her, and he realizes he’s done running. Time is up, and whether she likes it or not, she’s his.

Or she could be, if the secrets he keeps didn’t hold the power to destroy her.

Publisher's note: Each book in the Windsors series features a different Windsor sibling, and as such, each book can be listened to as a stand-alone. The Unwanted Marriage contains a guaranteed happily ever after and no cheating.

Great Story

Faye and Dion have been engaged to be married since they were children, even if they never knew each other. He has ignored her and let her know he is dissatisfied with this arrangement.
She is a pianist who has never really known love, as her father was harsh with her and only saw her as a bargaining chip. She has a boyfriend and meets him secretly. On one of those dates, Dion spots her with this man. Seeing this wakes him up, making him realize that he needs to claim her. Although he has a dark past that nobody knows, it could endanger her. But he can no longer wait, or he may never get her.

This is their journey and adventure in getting to know each other and finally having their HEA.

Captivating Emotions and Compelling Anguish

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥

The Unwanted Marriage by Catharina Maura is a captivating journey through love, anguish, and redemption that left me both satisfied and emotionally stirred. At first, I was hesitant, expecting a torrent of tears based on reviews, but while it did tug at my heartstrings, it offered a beautifully balanced emotional experience.

The plot delves into the intricacies of an arranged marriage between Faye and Dion Windsor, a pairing neither desires. However, fate and circumstance intertwine their lives in unexpected ways, leading to a rollercoaster of emotions that kept me engrossed throughout.

Maura's portrayal of grief and guilt is poignant yet realistic, allowing readers to empathize with the characters' struggles. The angst and turmoil between Faye and Dion are palpable, drawing you into their world of conflicting emotions and undeniable chemistry.

What truly stands out in this book is the strength of the characters. Faye's resilience and Dion's internal conflicts make them relatable and endearing. Their journey toward understanding and acceptance is beautifully crafted, showcasing the author's skill in character development.

Despite being part of a series, The Unwanted Marriage can be enjoyed as a standalone, thanks to Maura's ability to weave a complete and satisfying story while leaving room for future installments.

In conclusion, The Unwanted Marriage is a must-read for fans of arranged marriage romances filled with passion, depth, and redemption. I eagerly anticipate diving into the next installment of The Windsors series to explore more captivating narratives and emotional journeys.

Duet narration

I really like Angelina's narration. and the fact that it's duet. I shed some tears towards the end. This was my first read and I didn't know it was a series so I had to read the others but it's stand-alone. Listened to it twice and still one of my go to's.
